One of the Best Sequels of All Time
The Road Warrior (Mad Max 2 to most of the world) is the 1981 sequel to Mad Max. Set in a post-apocalyptic Australian Outback, it follows Max as he wanders the waste in "the last of the V8 Interceptors" in his neverending search for gasoline. Like Mad Max, this film is filled with great characters like the "Feral Kid", the Gyro Captain, Wez, and The Humungus. The chase sequence at the end of the film is even more amazing than the now legendary car chases of Mad Max. The Road Warrior is one of those rare movie sequels that is just as good, if not better, than the original. I highly recommend this film!
