HEAVY; for seniors and youth.
Don't get me wrong; I have every confidence in this product. I gave it a low score to draw attention to my belief that it my be too heavy and cumbersome for seniors and young people. I would recommend the next size down if you fall into one of these categories as I do.

    Saved My Property from Careless Neighbors
    I bought two of these on sale and mounted one on each level of my home. They are well built and on the heavy side (10lbs of dry chemical in a 7 lb container = 17lbs), so the attached hose is very useful for aiming and directing the extinguishing agent where it needs to go. I was able to test these out firsthand when my neighbors failed to ensure that their brush burn pile was completely extinguished, and left their house with the burn pile still smoldering in their woods, which abut my wooded property. Long story short, their woods caught fire, and I was able to keep the blaze under control using these two fire extinguishers. If I didn't have these on hand, the extra 15 minutes before the fire department arrived would most likely have lead to their house and my woods catching fire as well. Being prepared pays off, even when your inconsiderate neighbors couldn't be bothered to thank you for saving their house or offer to pay for the extinguishers to be recharged ($40 per extinguisher at my local fire safety supply).

    Nice Product As Delivered in Excellent Condition

    Hope to never need but appears to be quality product and based on its ABC ratings, it's the best value for a general household (non-kitchen) extinguisher.

    Large capacity fire extinguisher
    Need to recharge a 5lb unit, for home use, but no one would recharge it so purchased this 10lb unit due to the good value. The larger capacity should be better if we ever need it, but it is rather heavy. It needs to be mounted not to high so that it is easy to remove if needed.

    Good fire extinguisher that I hope to never use.
    Seems to be well made. Hopefully I'll never need to use it. Four stars instead of five because metal bracket for mounting on wall was deformed. I bent it back into shape with a vise and pliers.
