Seems a better value that the "other" brand
For the price this is the only disposal I could find that had stainless steel grinder parts. The "other" brand (sold at both the big-box home improvement stores) had holes corroded in it in 2 years. Can't vouch for the durability since I've only had it three weeks. Is very quiet in operation.

    Good deal on a well-made garbage disposal
    Well made and all the parts are packaged well and no issues with the installation. The unit replaced our 1 HP Insinkerator 333 unit. It does seem noisier with some objects. We tossed in a quarter of a lemon peel and it sounded as though we had some sort of hard object lodged in there, but after running it for 10 or 15 seconds it was fine.

    exactly what i was looking for
    the price was right, it shipped to me sooner than I expected, much quieter than my old unit, the installation w/ ez-mount was quick and painless, came with power cord, the instructions were very accurate.... what else could I have asked for?? have only had it a couple of weeks, but am expecting to get many years out of it. would definitely recommend :O)

    Only had this a week.
    Only had this a couple of weeks, so don't know about long-term performance. MUCH quieter than my previous disposal. Only 1/2 HP disposal with stainless steel teeth. CLEANING TIP: Once a month throw out your old ice cubes into disposal with water running. The ice will clean the blades better than almost anything. Great warranty. CHEAP price.

    waste king L2600 ezmount
    im a 48 yr. old mother of 3. i consider myself pretty handy. found this very easy to install. took abt. 3 hrs. total. i had to pull my dishwasher out first to reach outlet, then reconfigure dishwasher hose to disposal because it was installed wrong to begin with. disposal mounted easily to sink basin. would have taken me less time, but i included the time it took to run to the local hardware store for pvc extension because my drain pipes did not line up due to a different configuration with the previous disposal. very happy with its performance. shipping was very prompt! and all parts were included.

    The new Waste King Disposal we purchased was a definite best buy. Our previous Badger Disposal was 50% noisier and much harder to install. The Waste King took about 30 minutes to install. You have to buy a $4 straight piece of pvc for proper connection , but with the price about 30% less than comparable disposals this was an excellent buy. Highly recommend.

    I ordered this item through Walmarts Site-to-Store. Received an e-mail from the store days later saying the item had been delivered to the store; come pick it up. Item could not be found, however. After 3 more days of them not being able to find an item they were certain had arrived at that store, I took a refund instead. I don't think I'll do Walmart Site-to-Store again. Bought the item later at Amazon for $10 less with free shipping to my home. The disposal itself is fine - easy enough to install for for someone who's never installed one before. It has the inlet port for your dishwasher discharge line (1 inch O.D. opening) and a 3 foot long power cord. Outer case is plastic but feels durable. It does makes a noticable click when the unit is turned on; I've read from other reviewers that this is normal. Runs fairly quietly. Installation instructions are good. I found the Waste King disposals received generally better online reviews than other makers.

    I do lots of research on things before I purchase anything. This disposal was the best bang for my buck. It was one of the few with a full 5 year warrantee. It was a snap to install, be sure to use plumber's putty on the flange. The only negative is that it is noisy, but since it is run for such short periods of time at a time, I'll live with it. All in all, it's a great little machine.
