I just reordered this humidifier. I owned one for many years at least over a decade. I had used it all winter long. It is very quiet but noticed this year it had increased noise but still not a problem. My old one still works but the black rubber is beginning to decay. I highly recommend this because of quiet and longevity.

    I wouldn't buy it again
    It works well if you don't mind flipping whenever you have to fill it with water and have some spills around. I don't like the fact that Is hard to clean, you can't take off all the parts and you need a lengthy brush. You also have to buy filter if you don't add already filtered water it's recommended to buy some treatment for the water so it doesn't accumulate fungus and bacteria. It does it's job but it's hard to maintain!

    Operates Well, Not Quietly
    It does a good job of putting humidity in the air and has the capacity to last 10-12 hours. It is easy to fill with water and easy to use. My issue is that it claims to be quiet; it is not quiet

    Small sturdy humidifier is just what we needed
    I purchased this unit as replacement for a 30-year old cool mist room humidifier that failed to run. Even though we have a whole-house humidifier, we occasionally need more moisture and the operation is quiet, the water lasts a full day, and the size is much less obtrusive than the one we replaced. I recommend it for others!

    We've used this unit for just over one week. It supplies humidity to our bedroom air and the results so far have been great. My reason for giving it only four stars is because the unit is somewhat noisy.

    Like it and have 2 but have to replace it yearly
    I like this humidifier I have used it for years . My dislike is it seems I have to replace it every year and I have 2 of them. I live in a big town but it seems like none of the stores carry the replacement filters.
