Excellent cordless phone
I purchased two of these. One for me and the other for my 78 year old mom. We both like the phones, attractive, inexpensive and mist of all they work great. Excellent gift too!

easily destroyed by nearby lightning
2nd and last time purchase. In each instance lightning in area knocked out the Vtech unit without effecting older uniden unit in home. Neither Vtech unit made it a full year. Will stick with uniden which has lasted several years.

    GOOD HOUSE PHONE
    This is a good house phone if your in need of one its nice cheap and easy to install comes with the wires. Thought ill say that since no one put that in any of the comments at least. Ill recemond buying this if you just need something simple

    Good phone for the price
    The VTech CS6919 DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone is a good purchase for its price. It has the features you need for a cordless phone. It was easy to program and its slim design is comfortable to handle. The only dislikes about this phone is the display is too hard to read and the directory only holds 30 phone numbers.

    I am beyond glad I purchased this house phone, reason I got it was for the kids. It's perfect in size, you can put it anywhere without taking much space, has caller Id, I am super happy. Thank you Walmart you always have the best products for low prices!!! Will be shopping soon.

    VTech CS6919 DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone
    This is my 3rd phone. I bought this same phone several months back. I thought I would see how it worked before buying an extra satellite phone. After several weeks when I would try to dial, the dial tone was there, the numbers would beep but the phone did not dial the number. After about a week, the phone started working again. So, after several more weeks, I purchased the satellite version phone. All was well for another few weeks, when at that point both phones started to have the same problem the original phone had. Of course, if you would wait a week, it would fix itself. Seeing a trend here? Since I was invested in two phones, I thought I would replace the original unit with a new one, hoping to salvage my investment. At this point (again, several weeks later), all phones are working. The original phone was re-programed to work with this new base unit. It just does not have its own charging unit. I think (hope) the problem was in the original base unit. I guess I will find out in a few weeks!

    I have had several vetch phones, and was specific about not changing brands. I had gotten food or drink in the speaker piece, and no one could hear me, otherwise, I'd still be using it. The new phone was easy to install and just as easy to use. I also appreciated the fact that this phone has call blocking. The government has not been able to get rid of robot calls, or unsolicited callers even though I am on the do not call list. I can block the idiots that call me the most. I also like the fact that I don't need a phone jack for every extension. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.
