Excellent product - well made - affordable!
The heating pad is made of very soft velour material and is very well made. It comes with a long cord and it attached to the left side of the front. It is some what heavy due to the roll along the entire outside of the pad being filled with weighted pellets - which helps it stay in place on the body. If a person was small or very thin this might be too much weight and be uncomfortable. I had one similar several years ago - the collar was not as high nor the back as long. This is a overall improvement - I love mine - I would recommend this product to anyone who has neck, shoulder and upper back pain, stiffness or muscle aches.

Miserably uncomfortable
Awful! Very heavy, very stiff, very inflexible, unwieldy, awkward., and very uncomfortable. After trying it on very briefly, I packaged it for immediate return.

    Great heating pad
    I have a pinched nerve in my neck radiating to shoulder and arm. This is nice because it covers neck and shoulder area. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay hot for very long. I have to keep adjusting the heat to go higher after about 4-5 minutes.

    This is the most awesome thing on earth for me. it is like it was molded to my broken neck. it has a strong flex forming rod that positions it around the neck area where you need it. it heats the shoulder areas front and back.

    Best Quality. Heat relaxes shoulders
    The best one by far. If you have shoulder/neck pain, this brand is the best quality. It's larger, softer, and will last much longer than other brands. Believe me, I have tried others. The Sunbeam is well worth spending a little more money on. Do it.

    This heating is the best heating pad ever. I have several neck surgeries completed n the last one had to fusion my spine from C3 to T2 n had 2 metal rods inserted on each side on my upper spine to try to stabilize the repaired spine. The surgery was very successful but there is still some upper neck/shoulder muscle n nerve pain. And muscle pain down along one side of my spine. This heating allows me at rest times n bedtime to wear the heating place on 2nd setting (yellow) n lay down. Within 15 minutes my neck, shoulders n back are relaxing n reducing the pain helping to minimize the nerve pain which remains from my last surgery. It's great !!! I ordered the gray color. One improvement - create the shoulders to hang over the shoulders more with more heat to cover the end, top n side of your shoulders for us older folks with shoulder pain problems. I wish you could make something like this for the low back long term pain sufferers due to sciatic pain, disc n spine pain in the L5-L3 n S1 n other chronic hip pain n pain in low back Drs just can not locate on any MRIs or CT scans but they agree you are suffering from pain in that area they just can't find the cause to show to your medical plan. Please make that heating pad it would be very similar to the neck but not high neck pad, must wrap around belly button area n close/hold. Then dangle the back area for low back but make it in a more rectangular shape n longer so it hangs past the butt down into the thighs but it also wraps part of the way around thighs and wraps all the way around butt/low abdomen of the body with those Velcro straps to keep it tight on the person n the heat will get Not only the back but the front of the lower abdominal areas n part of front thighs. Thanks for consideration this type of heating pad. I would buy in a minute!!!!!

    Worth owning it.
    I like that its weighted and well made. Its one size fits most, so its a little large for me, but I find it very useful just the same. It has a detachable electric cord for ease of cleaning. I store it in my closet on a hanger. Very good product by a well known name, Sunbeam.

    This is the only electric neck heating pad that actually wraps around my neck and stays there. I have permanent neck issues and need to keep heat on it. It is so nice not to keep getting up from watching TV to put my other kind in the microwave.

    I bought this for my 88 year old Father. We could not get it ti fit right around his neck and shoulders. Otherwise would be ok for someone not so frail or bent over . Good luck.
