    This is where all the good designers went!
    Awesome pair of essential tools. Super charger for quick recharges. USB out batteries for a nice extra. Beautiful ring light on impact tool, for even lighting. Belt clips on both tools. Brushless motors, so longer battery life. Good grip and balance. Light from base on drill so gets beyond type bit used in front! Doesn't cost and arm and a leg to buy or get more batteries. Hello? This is where all the good designers went!

    Power, durability and impressive price
    Both the drill and impact driver are surprisingly powerful for 12v tools. Two batteries and a charger that achieves a 25% charge in 5 minutes tops of the great value of this kit. Both devices feel substantial, sturdy to the hand.

    Haven't used it a lot. But when I have this has been a more than capable tool. Definitely the best bang for buck 12v on the market. Not only that it's comparable to the other big name 12v combo sets at the brushed price. Very good tools!!!!

    Nothing bad to say yet, the powercore 12 drill driver, and impact driver kit has helped me complete my project without any issues. Time will tell with the batteries, and quality of materials used though. I'm very impressed with the use i've gotten so far for the price paid. Skil seems to have stepped up in the quality department since i've known about them. My mother bought a drill years ago and it was no good. Times have changed it seems, and I'm glad I've decided to try them again. For a weekend diy'er like myself the price is right, and the utility so far has been exemplary. Good job Skil!

    Light, powerful, versatile combo
    I didn't switch to cordless from my "old reliable" 25 year old corded drill until a friend recommended this set. I owe him a beer! THE DRILL: the torque adjustment and two speed gearbox is fantastic, allowing you to tailor the power to the task, along with using the variable speed trigger. The LED work light compliments my head lamp in the recesses of floor joists and the like. The keyless chuck is so much faster & more convenient than fishing for the chuck. The drill allows for standard bit or 1/4" hex bits - a plus. The battery life is solid and it's a quick charge. I haven't use the USB charging port yet, but it shows that Skil thought of everything. THE IMPACT DRIVER: this baby has power, especially on the high speed setting. There's a very bright halo light surrounding the chuck which could be used as a flashlight it's so bright. The quick change 1/4" driver collet makes it quick to swap tips, and having this tool as well as the drill, attached to your belt makes a multi-task job go so much faster. Also, since each tool comes with a battery and charger, you're never out of power. Highly recommended!

    QUALITY LIGHTWEIGHT COMBO
    I have a 20V common brand combo Drill/Impact Driver. After receiving this set as a gift I found the SKIL Combo to be superior even tho it is 12V. More power is not always the "better" tool. The SKIL PWRCORE 12V combo can do any household or smaller car project with greater ease, and maneuverability, and comfort since SKIL designed-in the handling "fit" of the users hands. Lightweight also for those shelf or cabinet hardware or ceiling light jobs where the tool is held over your head tilted backwards!! Variable power features, Halo lights, full charge in ~45 minutes....or just use the PWR Jump! Great features! Buy a set for your wife!

    Comfortable, Powerful and Love the Halo Light
    This is a great combo kit with lots of solid power. It's nice to have the drill and driver set especially mounting something that requires drilling a pilot hole. For example I recently installed a Ring Doorbell on our home and had to drill pilot holes in our front door frame and then screw in the mounting hardware. Although the quick bit change flange on the impact driver would have done the trick with switching out bits, it was nice to have the drill set up to drill the hole and then use the driver to screw in the hardware. I also recently had to replace the sash cord pulley system on an upstairs window with a broken sash cord. The impact driver made quick work of the window frame screws and the blind mounting hardware. The drill and driver are lightweight, seems to have a very long battery life, and the torque settings helped to not strip some of the screws when putting everything back together. I really loved the halo light option to and can definitely see enjoying that feature with other project to come as well. This kit makes me want to buy other products in this brush less line so I have interchangeable batteries for all of them. Also love the usb charging port on the battery itself should my power go out and I need to charge a phone, etc. Great products!
