Works great
I use these with my pur pitcher. Its easy to use and it filters water fast, it slows down as its getting time to be changed. It comes with a calendar wheel so you know when it needs to be changed but as I said it slows down so I know when to changed it. I will continue to use and the are fairly inexpensive.

They have a liquid when first open package
I am returning this product due to bad quality. It has a liquid inside the original new packages. The look like they are not new. I tried to use one and it stopped filtering water after one week.

    Stopped working
    Started on the first of the 3 filters and for some reason the filter has stopped working like many of the reviews on here say. I bought the pitcher with the spicket and it came with the same kind of filter. I dont understand why this new one has stopped working. Water has been waiting to be filtered for hours and hours in the top. Guess i will try the other 2 but not looking good since other reviewers have said the same thing.

    My go to for home water dispenser filter. If you hate buying bottled water because of carrying a case of water, saving the bottles for recycling, running to the recycler, a home countertop water dispenser is perfect.

    Make for great tasting water
    We have terrible tasting water in our town and I won't spend the money on bottled water...at this price I can have great tasting water that is fresh everyday. The filters do last quite a long time. This is the cheapest I have seen them in a long time.

    Easy to use
    I have been using a PUR Pitcher for years, so handy to have on kitchen counter. I always have filtered water for drinking and watering my exotic tropical plants. The PUR replacement filter is so easy and convenient to change out. I change it about three or four months, saves $$$'s compared to buying bottled water.

    Makes water taste good
    I drink tons of water and want it to taste pure and good. This filter is a bit of a pain to prepare - you have to soak it first; however, it's worth the time. The water is filtered and does not have a chemical taste. I highly recommend it. Compare prices because these can range in price.

    Great for everyday use.
    I've had my PUR large pitcher for several years and have really liked it. The filters help so you don't have to buy as much bottled water for everyday use (when making coffee, drinking water, tea, mixing into foods...). However, in my last package, I got 2 'dud' filters. The 1st one did not allow the water to drip into the pitcher and no matter how many times I emptied, removed, and reinserted the filter, it did not work. I tossed into the trash (goodbye $$) and opened the 2nd one. That one worked like a charm. Then it came time for the 3rd...lo and behold, it was exactly like the first one (goodbye to more $$)...talk about a rip-off! The filters are not that inexpensive and to have to toss 2 of them really irked me. If this had never happened, I'd be thrilled and the rating would have been different but, 2 duds out of 3 chances? Nope, not a good thing.

    Great, if you don't like the faucet type....
    Good product, the filter doesn't last long as the faucet type, but does the job. Note, that it doesn't filter everything out there, if you live in a area with light to moderate contaminates, this is fine. Heavy contaminates you may need a industrial filter.
