Cool air
With this hot summer this air conditioner is the perfect addition to our boys room they love it they can now sleep good and be cool and they can now hang out in their room without having to leave cause it's so hot! The air conditioner is wonderful and comes with a remote control that lets you control the temp if you feel like it's too cold band you don't have to get up and change temp. Only downside is that it is a big unit and we had to buy brackets for outside to hold it up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Quiet and affordable.
    Cools my classroom quickly and quietly. I am pleasantly surprised that my 550sqft open classroom feels cool in a few short minutes! Running at a low hum, it does not come through as background noise during my online meetings, the way the last one did.

    Where do I begin. The atmosphere in my room has relaxed. Like the air is cleaner for some reason. But cooling wise this a/c gets the job done. And it's quieter than the other one I had. It has dry feature that dehumidifies the room. It's always like a fall cool day lol. Maybe I'm hyping it up but the truth is since I put this a/c I feel like it increased my comfort level and I enjoy my room that much more. I hope this helps someone decide to buy this awesome ac.

    We looked into dustless air conditioning and of course with just purchasing the house it was not in the budget so we decided to look at air conditioners and we picked this one based on looks and features and I have to say…. This air conditioner cools my whole downstairs !!! I'm not sure of the square footage but it's 3 pretty good sized rooms and also starts up go up the steps!

    Purchased this AC a month ago because the central Air couldn't keep up due to the hot , humid Texas beach air and poor insulation in the home . Before this unit was installed the temp maintained 78 with the central air and was very uncomfortable.We like it cold and this unit does that being very quite and efficient . Absolutely love the WiFi capabilities. This is a sleek ,very well made unit . Don't let the big bulky box fool you , by putting the thought in your head of being a hard install . It's not! It's a one man install , super easy ! This unit is a must if you want to keep your family cool on those hot days

    Awesome product! Best money ever spent.
    Bought this a month ago. Product exceeds expectations and quality vs price is on par! Cools nearly my entire 3 bedroom upstairs apartment. Was sort of nervous spending the money in fear it wouldn't be worth it but i am absolutely happy with my purchase and will continue to buy more lg products in the future as the lg thinq app is phenomenal as well. 10/10

    Very nice unit at a great price point.
    I bought this unit to cool and dehumidify a garage/shop. Since the area is only about 725 square feet, I knew this 18,000 BTU model would be more than enough. Installation was very straight forward. I built in the existing 4 foot by 2 foot window opening to be only slightly larger than the unit itself, making it unnecessary to use the expanding "wings" that come with it. I then screwed down a 1 inch thick piece of hard maple to the sill to extend out of the window by about 12 inches for extra support. Being an 18,000 BTU model, I also ran wiring for a 240 volt outlet and mounted that just above the window opening. Having the main "guts" of the unit easily removed from the metal cabinet makes getting everything installed so much easier; no more holding a very heavy air conditioner in the window opening while making critical measurements. The end user only needs to mount the outer cabinet and then can easily (with the help of a friend) lift and slide the air conditioner itself into the cabinet. The unit cools down my insulated garage in no time and removes excess humidity at the same time. The low current draw at 240 volts also allows me to run a table saw, dust collector and the air conditioner all at the same time with no issues at all. LG makes a great product and I'm very happy with my purchase!

    Love the dual inverter! Interesting drain style
    So far so good. Only had the unit in my studio for about a week now, not running it all the time because I dont have full power hooked up yet. But its been great. It is very quiet and Im impressed to say the least. I love that it doesnt have this huge thump like most units when the compressor cuts on and off. It is very efficient. It does not have a drain hole in the pan outside the window- instead it uses a slinger fan that slings the water out if enough builds up. But water can also drain through a couple of screw threads I found and has an emergency overflow as well. Overall Im very satisfied with my purchase and the choice to spend a little more and get a much better unit. I love the dual inverter. Ill never go back! Worth every penny!

    Quality air conditioner
    This is a great unit. It really is powerful and reasonably priced for 18000 btu. Its heavy so expect a few extra installation steps compared to smaller units. It took me a while to install because I had to take the windows out of the frame and make a couple modifications to make it fit but it was worth it
