Useless instructions
I cannot find anything in the users manual, or online to show how to attach the handle and safety strap. I cannot even find a photo of it being used to get a general idea of how to attach it. This is very frustrating, and makes me want to return the item.

    Works good BUT if it was sharpened some it would be a great tool. It also would get stuck in something's of about an inch

    Quite a Cutter; Entire Unit Heavy; Takes Stamina.
    This unit will definitely eat up tall grass and tough weeds not too big in diameter (and a leg or foot in the way, too)! When using to cut big sunflowers with .25 to .5 inch stalks it's quite a job. The motor must be running wide open throttle and (for me) it was best to try to drive the cutting unit thru the stalk with a good swing at it. If I tried just slowly letting it cut thru the stalk it took forever and would wear me out. I'm working on 2 wire, hotwire fence lines for cattle. A round cutting blade would/will probably be best and much easier for my job. P.S. I did sharpen the blade unit just a little before beginning with the sunflowers. I'm certain that helped. Not made for rookies and/or low stamina workers. This entire unit is quite heavy.

    Glad I got it.
    It fits my Black Max gas power weed eater like it was made for it. Powerful little tool for brush-cutting. Cleared 5 foot high grass from a hill in my front yard - no problem!

    Great product!
    Great product! I bought this to clear out a large patch of bamboo averaging about 1.5" dia. This saw cuts through a stalk of bamboo in just a couple of seconds. The blade which comes with it is good for weeds, vines, etc., but nothing larger like the bamboo. I bought some 40T blades which do work great for this. So, be ready to match the blade to the application. This brush cutter does the job.

    Easy to attach, worked well.
    The best thing about this HART Powerfit brush cutter attachement is the fact that it allows ypu to connect itto the bottok of your string trimmer to give you one tool multiple uses. I was worried when I realized that I had s different brand attachment capable string trimmer, however was soon pleasant surprised to find out that these HART products still fit my Black Max trimmer and worked fine! Yay! It comes completely put together already all you have to do is remove the rubber cap and click onto your trimmer and tighten. It does have a blade cover which I thought was nice, so make sure to remove the white/clear blade cover becore you use the cutter. Thr best thing I like about it having a cover is you can just pop it right back on after use to keep yourself safe from being cut by the blade when its being stored. It did come in a oddly shaord box that i had to practically ruin to open, wish it came in a better box so I could use that for storage. Worked really well and I had my boyfriend cut down some calla lillies that were very overgrown next to my car and blocking my car door from opening. It cut through them very well and made a very quick job of it too. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it kind of does the same thing my string cutter does already, butI havng tried it on any thicker bushes so maybe thats the only difference? It also came with its own handle which I didnt need because my trimmer already had one, as well as a strap to make it easier to carry.
