Nice clipper
It took less than an hour to charge this up and the charge lasted for at least the 30 minutes it took me to trim a couple of bushes. The small trimmer is definitely a nice bonus. This trimmer performed as well as my old electric trimmer. The instructions for how to attach the blades was completely unclear. I was nervous the first time I turned it on that the blades would just fly off but they stayed attached so I guess I put it on correctly. My old electric trimmer had an extra handle that made control a lot easier. This one is much lighter but I do miss the extra control to cut smooth curved shapes. This trimmer is better for a quick touch up rather than serious trimming/shaping. Overall I'd recommend this trimmer for a light quick trim but nothing too heavy duty just due to the lack of control.

    Picked up this 20v Shear/Shrubber Kit about 2 weeks ago for my hedge and garden. First off, it's easy to switch from the shrubber attachment and the shear attachment. Second it took me about 30 minutes to trim my hedge. It's about 15 yards long and 3 feet wide. Third the shears made easy work of plants in the floor bed. The neighbor was impressed by how fast and easy I trimmed the hedge.

    Great little hedge clipper, compact, safe, easy
    Got this item a short while from my husband. He knows I love my boxwoods and would spend hours pruning them. With this little gem, it takes a few hours that use to take me several hours or days to complete my work. I am petite and this is small, easy, lightweight.

    Great accessory for light duty work.
    Out of the box, charged, and put to the use I bought it for was great. As a light duty touch up trimmer for minor shaping and trimming of my holly bushes and scrubs it did great first time out. Definitely not meant for heavy use or for complete trimming, but to keep things in shape in between it should do fine. Hoping for good results for years to come.

    You can trust Hart battery operated hand tools!
    Light but surprisingly powerful. Convenient to use and store. Designed by pros for home use! The two blades give me the option to cut a great variety type of plants. The 20V battery (comes with charger) gives me very good running time and I can use my other 20V battery when needed. it came with the Hart drill plus I have a Hart. All great tools for around the house!

    Great Cordless Garden Trimmer
    We've had this cordless garden trimmer for several weeks in So Cal winter, so nothing much is growing this time of year. The charger is lightweight and easy to use, charges the 2A battery quickly. The tool motor runs relatively quiet compared to the monster tools we use, it's lightweight and blade swap from Hedge trimmer to Grass shear can be done blindfolded. It's not a beast, so I wouldn't use it to tackle a ten foot hedge but it is very handy for smaller shrubs and quick touch ups. My wife won't put it down.. :-) I weedwhack everything with my big string trimmer however, in the tight places where string trimmer creates havoc, this little grass shear comes in really handy, snipping around sprinklers, under fence lines, around yard arts.. it's fantastic in that regard. A note on grass shear attachment, the overall blade body is bent slightly, but according to Hart this is normal and wort effect operation, we found that to be true. Overall this is a great addition to our gardening tasks. eSteven

    Easy On The Arm Muscles
    The Hart 20V 8 inch shear/ shrubber arrived well packaged to prevent shipping damage with shrub blade in hard plastic cover and shear blade in soft plastic cover for safe removal plus later installation . Battery charged to full capacity with included charger in 40 minutes out of the packaging box . Both blades install easily by just removing knob on bottom of tool and lining up blade then retightening blade with knob ( no tools needed ) . Using the tool with shrub blade on a delicate umbrella Japanese Maple was a pleasant surprise compared to a manual hand tool or a large hedge trimmer that could ruin the tree . Easily used with one hand while having the other hand free to move things out of the way . Always wear eye protection because the trimmer is closer to you because of it's convenient size with the capacity to get in to smaller areas . After 25 minutes of usage the battery was working well and my hand and arm muscles were doing just fine . I gave this tool a 5 star rating if it is used as intended . It is not a tool to completely clear out all of the landscaping in your yard ( maximum 5/16 in. cut ) . This tool is perfect to keep landscaping trimmed so you do not have to bring out the large heavy hedge trimmer that wears a person out for the day .

    Great Product For Yard Trimming
    Trimming plants out of my flower beds at the end of the season just got a whole lot easier!! Both size shears worked like butter cutting through live and dead flower stems and twigs like butter! Very easy to change out the different size cutters, unscrew the large base screw (needs no tools) pop out one blade and insert the other one and then reattach hand-threaded screw head back on, takes less than one minute! Battery slips into place easily and has plenty of power to get the job done. Very pleased!
