Does the Job!
I have had this Febreze OdorGrab Air Cleaner running in my home on the low setting for a few weeks. I am not a smoker, however my home is laid out with an open floor plan so my cooking smoke and smells from the kitchen go right into my living room/dining room. I located the Febreze OdorGrab Air Cleaner close to my kitchen area and I have noticed that the air has stayed much fresher. I especially notice how clean the air is when I get home from work. The filter is very easy to install and the unit is small enough that it will fit in most anywhere! There is a scented cartridge pack that comes with the unit (Linen & Sky) and it is very easy to install into the unit via a small door on the back of the unit. You simply peel away the foil sticker on the back of the scent pack and slide it into the unit and shut the door. The scent is not overpowering, on the contrary it is a very light scent. The fan is quiet and would make a perfect white noise unit for the bedroom.

The scent the machine came with smells really good. We brought this to a relative's house that had been smoked in. When I first turned the machine on I could smell the scent from a few feet away. We left it on in the house for 24 hours. When I went back into the house I could not smell the scent at all and it did not seemed that it helped get rid of the smoke smell. I really thought this would work to help freshen up the smell of the house but it didn't.

    Nice scent for bad odors
    This is a simple air cleaner that is about the size of a traditional ice bucket. Assembly is simple, just remove the packing, insert the scent cartridge & plug into an outlet. It does make an audible hum while working. It has 2 speeds, of course the more powerful, louder than the other. I had tried it at work, but found the sound, even on low distracting at my desk. At home I have it on a shelf about 4 feet off the ground, there it does a good job of leaving a nice scent in the air of that room & no one is bothered by the sound. We also used it for a day in our basement while cleaning it, where there is also a dehumidifier. It kept the area comfortable and it filled the air with a pleasant scent that smelled like laundry being done. It is very lightweight, so very portable, just need to be able to plug it in. It is suggested to replace the cartridges every 8 weeks or so. We haven't used it for that long yet, so no need to replace. The replacement cartridges are a little pricey, but readily available in the supermarket. I will prefer that to buying cans, or spray bottles, which are often misplaced, overused. & bulky to carry and store.

    Fresh Air!
    I'm that person that normally leaves my window open to enjoy fresh air. I've always felt like it makes the air cleaner in my home, so like many of you, I was super excited to give this purifier a shot. I have 3 small children, a dog and 2 cats, we really need all the help we can get. Lol. It was so easy to get started, all I really had to do was remove from box, add the febreze freshener, then I was ready to rock. My home smells so wonderful now. No more coming home from work and smelling dirty socks or a wet dog. Lol. Yay, we are so happy. I need to run the purifier about every 3 days for about 6 hrs and we stay fresh and clean. It's really quiet, I dont get annoyed by the sound, in fact most of the time i cant even tell it's running. I personally feel like every home should have one. The only downside I found was that the filter is not able to be cleaned, but it's rather inexpensive. Fresh air for everyone!!

    There are some things that I love about the Febreze OdorGrab Air Cleaner, and some things that I don't love so much. First off, I love the simplistic design. It has a low and high setting. When it is on "low," it sounds like white noise, which is soothing. When it is on "high," I find it to be too loud. It sounds about as loud as a tabletop fan. It has a small scent pack in it, but I do not smell it at all. I have had this running for a week straight, and I am impressed with the amount of dust that the filter has caught. Overall, I like having this product in my living room and I am happy with its ability to filter the air.

    A great way to clean your air!
    This is a great product. It cleans the air very effectively. It is easy to set up and has a cool way to remind you to replace the filter and scent cartridge. This will work with or without the scent since it has a carbon filter that needs to be replaced after use. It is recommended to use at the first setting since the second is much louder. It isn't very heavy and since it slides easily on a surface when turning on with one hand, I recommend adding rubber feet to the base (see 2nd picture of the modified base) so it doesn't slide when trying to turn it on. It is very effective and eliminates the worry of your smoke detector going off. The scent is very Febreze but you can choose. I only hope they add some other options in the future.

    I love this air purifier but it is noisy. It doesn't bother me but you can definitely hear it. It reminds me of white noise that people listen to at night but going all day. It does keep the air clean and bad smells away. We keep it in our restroom. I would recommend it. I wish we had it when we had guinea pigs.

    Febreze OdorGrab Air Cleaner FHT150W, White. I've been using the OdorGrab Air Cleaner for a couple of weeks and I'm not convinced yet. I'm a person who love to cook, but everybody knows the problems that this brings in terms of bad odor to your house or apartment. My first impression was very good also having used several other Febreze products that are amazing. The design is modern and looks nice, also it has the carbon filter like the one in my refrigerator that keeps the bad odors out of it, so I was expecting great result with this new air cleaner. It also has a system to add a Febreze scent when is on. Everything was great until I used it. After I put it in my kitchen, and I noticed that is very big to have it all the time over my countertop and as soon as I turned it on, came the second problem, it is very loud, it sounds like a big computer fan. I leaved on during all the time I was cooking and also, I leaved on after I finished and I was out the house for 2 hours, I soon as I was back, I was specking to fin a fresh and clean air, but the truth was that it didn't make any difference in my house, I was really disappointed with the result. I don't want to say it is a bad product, because I only tested in my kitchen where for me was needed, but this can be a great product for other places like, closets or bathrooms, where the job is not that hard.
