Best bike
I bought 2 bikes on Lazada both were terrible one couldn’t use after 3 trips so I bought from here so I would have some come back. But this bike is amazing, done 10+ rides and it’s really well built and rides great. For the money you can’t lose and don’t waste your money on anything else. I was worried about only 9 gears but definitely enough too and bottom.

Sqeaky Front Wheel. Super annoying!
The stupid hud design with a rubber casket that touches the wheel hub that makes the super high pitch noise. Decathlon should replace for all 500 series customers.

    What a great service
First, I just want to say HOW GREAT SERVICE I GOT, I was shocked with the professionalism and service I had the day of the purchase and the day I went to pick it up. It was caring, professional, and smiling and I felt so important. Secondly, you are the best SPORT STORE I have ever been to.

Love the Bike! So comfortable and 9 speeds is perfect. Long rides, short rides, any ride is enjoyable. Should have purchased one long ago. Recommend it to any age.

    Riverside Hybrid Bike 500 Riview
"The Riverside Hybrid Bike 500 is a great bike for beginners, but it would be helpful if the manufacturer included a manual on how to use the gears." Here are some additional details that you may want to include in your review: The Riverside Hybrid Bike 500 is a well-made and versatile bike that is perfect for commuting, touring, and light off-road riding. The bike has a lightweight aluminum frame, a comfortable saddle, and a wide range of gears that make it easy to ride on a variety of terrain. The bike also features mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping power in all weather conditions. The only downside to the bike is that it does not come with a manual on how to use the gears. This could be a problem for beginners who are not familiar with how to shift gears. Overall, the Riverside Hybrid Bike 500 is a great bike for beginners who are looking for a reliable and versatile bike that can handle a variety of riding conditions. However, it would be helpful if the manufacturer included a manual on how to use the gears.

Riverside 500 is a good bike for daily commuting to work even on rainy days. Disc brakes works well on rainy days and tyres got good grips. Bike was designed to be comfortable. Must have strong legs to really go fast on this bike. Front wheel squeaking issue can actually be easily fixed by just oiling. Overall rating is 4/5. There can still be improvement on this bike definitely.

Ordered 8 bikes in total. Almost all of them had issues (poor gear indexing, brakes rubbing, handlebar not aligned, bolts and pedals not tightened, chain not lubricated, tires not inflated, no grease applied to moving components)

Overall it is a good bike. Price is just right. Used the bike since Dec 2022. Accessories are plenty. Have ride occasionaly everyway at average distance of 12km/ride, average speed of 15kmh, top speed around 30kmh. Longest ride is 25km Pro: Gear changing is smooth, never had a derail chain. Brake is excellent. Ride comfort is good. Handling is good on low and high speed. Con: Gear change from high to low has big jump. Have to make sure the speed is right before changing, especially from 7 to 8 or 8 to 7. If you don't have the right speed, its either over spinning or too heavy. The front shock adjustment didn't feels make any different in stifness. Weight is also still consider a bit heavy @ 13.1kg M size.

Great bicycle for commuting and training.
Coming from a lower end mountain bike I felt immediate positive impact in my speed and ability to climb. Gearshift was smooth. The suspension absorbed road imperfections well (adjustable). Comfortable seat. Do note you have to pay extra for essential accessories such as the kickstand etc.

    Decent quality
When it first arrived, i noticed that there were some scratches on the bike frame and the brakes were not as responsive as the ones that i had tried in-store. There were also some screws that are already stripped such as the rear light ones and it is technically impossible for me to remove it. Overall, it is a great bike to drive but the QC can be done better.

    Value for money
Bought this bicycle after the last one I bought from Shopee that didn't even last me a year before the cassette start getting cranky. Suspension feels good, gear change is very smooth and doesn't skip gears, seat is comfortable. Material is lightweight yet sturdy, compared to my previous bicycle which was very heavy.

    Fixed the squeaky front wheel!
Overall a good bike aside from the squeaky front wheel. Took me awhile to identify that the rubber gaskets at either sides of the front wheel hub needs to be well lubricated with grease. I would put it down to poor design as I’m sure the squeak will be back when the grease is gone. Would like to suggest that the design team re-look into the use of the rubber gaskets rubbing against the front wheel hub.
