Chrismas gift
I bought this for a Christmas gift and of course, I am not going to use it, because of it, "but I can tell ~it is going to be Great, and She will Love it!! Nice Color, Great Service, he even knocked at the door to let us know it was dropped off, and packing was perfect, and same day as they said to be delivered also.....I might even order more in the future possibly.......you won't be sorry if you order one!!!!!!

Beware the Byron!
Unfortunately, there was nothing to like about this particular style of Contigo travel mug. I wish I had stuck with West Loop, much, much more user friendly than the Byron in every way. I probably can't return this item because I've been using it since it arrived and dropping on the floor resulted in a dent on the bottom. However, I want WALMART to know why this item received only one star (I would have given it zero stars if that had been possible). The Byron has a straight "up and down" silhouette unlike the West Loop which has some shape to it, making it easy to pick up and hold. It indents and has the grip right where you would naturally reach to pick it up. The Byron, on the other hand, has the same diameter from top to bottom and it's just a little too round to get a secure grip when you pick it up. You have to struggle to get a firm hold on it and it easily slips out of your hands if you haven't got a firm grip. But the biggest problem with the Byron is the SNAP SEAL on the lid which you have to flip up to enable you to drink from the mug You press the snap seal back down to prevent liquid from escaping in case you drop the mug or knock it over - totally genius! Now, over time, I have purchased at least a dozen of the "West Loop" style mugs for myself or for gifts and while the snap seal on these mugs was designed to close firmly, it was still fairly easy to pop it open. The snap seal on this particular Byron mug is SO TIGHT that opening it each and every time I want a drink, it's a battle. I tend to pop the seal with my thumb but this seal is so unforgiving that I have severely sprained my right thumb and the adjacent joint, requiring medical attention because the pain is so bad and my left thumb is very sore and heading for a sprain if I'm not careful. I'm off to look for a decentlyu priced 20 oz West Loop and I'm going to take it Walmart just so t hey can tr y the s nap seal themselves. If they won't give me a credit, then I'll just have to chalk it up to a lesson learned and move on, but I hope this review will help you if you're ever in the market for a travel mug by Contigo. y p ick it up.     This in no way keeps drinks cold for 22 hours. Maybe 3. Very disappointed. I have another smaller one that leaks. A lot of money thrown away

    Great Travel Mug
    I have purchased 4, 24 oz mugs. I noticed that cleaning them was an issue, so I purchased a bottle brush and it works Great. I would most definitely recommend this mug.

    Where can I get another O-ring for my mug?
    I like how my Contigo mug keeps my coffee and tea hot. Also, I like that it doesn't leak. However, the O-ring in the snap lid is missing which causes the mug to leak. I am hoping that you can send another O-ring or that you can tell me who sells food grade O-rings so that I can still use the mug. I hate to think that I have to throw the mug and lid away because of a missing O-ring. I have recommended these mugs to others and have purchased them as gifts. I would like to keep doing so, but that depend on whether I can replace the missing O-ring. The picture I am sending has an O-ring in the lid which is the same size as the lid with the missing O-ring. Thank you for any assistance you can give me with this matter.

    After a month the lid leaks
    I purchased this just over a month ago and now the lid leaks. I've tried to fix it over and over by reinserting the seal. The seal seems to stretch each time you take the lid down. I have five of your mugs and the two with the lids like this one both leak. I threw the first one in the trash, thinking it was just something wrong with the way I was using it. Then when I purchased the new one and the same thing happened I knew it wasn't me. Now I have a mug that is just over a month old that's useless.

    Bought this in a pinch. Works great! Keeps my beverages hot. Might buy another. Like the easy cleaning of the lid. The other brand I had was hard to clean. Also the rubber wrap around on the top makes for a good grip.

    I USED to tell everyone about your mugs....
    The snap and seal was "ok" for about 2-3 weeks. But the seal in the lid stretch out. Very disappointed In my choice of coffee mug. I bragged about your company since 2015, when I got 2 auto seal mugs. Stays hot for hours. Est 8 hours. AMAZING, PERFECT. I went on vacation took my mug with me and gave one to my friend I was visiting. Unfortunately i forgot mine. My friend loves them both. SHE WON'T SEND MINE BACK. Needed a new mug. Wrong choice. Auto seal is the way to go!

    Pretty good, except for the rubber stopper
    I've had this mug for 2+ years now, and it remains a favorite as the body is easy to clean and has a wide mouth to put ice in. It also keeps my drink either hot or cold for a long time without condensation on the outside. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to clean the rubber stopper and the gasket of the lid so after some time, it started to smell a bit funky and the stopper discolored. I don't drink out of the lid anymore, I just unscrew it and drink directly because of this. I do rinse and dry the lid separately from the body, so I don't understand how this happened. I tried soaking it in hot water with baking soda to no avail, and brushing it has similarly achieved nothing. I still use it though, but it would be great if I could get a replacement stopper and gasket.

    Great for keeping coffee hot, hard to clean
    I have 4 these, they keep my drink hot from 6 am till 5 pm ( I forgot it at home one day, and it was still warm when I opened it) my only complaint, when you wash the lids,yuck! The little ball that seals it is hard to get off and put on to clean it, and the rubber ring seal broke in a few uses when cleaning. WHERE ARE THE REPLACEMENTS PIECES TO BUY? I want to keep my cups, but need replacement parts or even lids.
