Awesome
I've only had this shredder for a week now but it's working wonderfully. I've followed the instructions on how to load papers to be shredded and it's so quiet. It's a good choice. I have only shredded bank statements and checks at this point but it's worked flawlessly

Poor Quality
Flimsy. Hard to empty. Control lever hard to control. Paper opening is exactly 8" wide so hard to position normal-sized papers. But the price is reasonable and my shredding needs are limited, so I will keep it.

    I can't praise my new Aurora enough!
    This is the second Aurora Shredder I have bought. I had the first for many years and loved it. Wore the poor thing out over the many years of use. It was an 8 sheet no credit card shredder. I upgraded to 12 -Sheet and am enjoying it so much. You really can't possibly go wrong with the Aurora GB 12 -Sheet Crosscut Paper and Credit Card Shredder with 5.2 Gallon Wastebasket. Just get it! You will love it!

    My first impression was that it was too small, however when I started using it, I noticed that it was quieter than the one I was replacing, then I found that it was very efficient, so in tins case size didn't matter at all. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

    Great for six sheets.
    Arrived fast. Works well with six sheets of paper. Will do 12 sheets if you count both sides of each sheet. Struggles and chokes with 8 or more sheets.

    This paper shredder is easy to use. I usually put 9 pages at a time instead of 12 because some papers are thicker than the other. My previous one only cut straight, this one is criss cross. The basket is not very big, so I have to empty it as soon as the screen shows that it is full.

    Just received this item, unboxed it and started using it for all the papers I have accumulated. seems to be working fine, it's not too big isn't too loud and serves for the purpose that I need it.

    This Shredder works really well, excellent choice for small jobs in the home. It really does take 12 sheets and cuts credit card material really well. Shredder size cuts are good.

    This one is a keeper
    Our second one. Nothing beats this shredder for your home office. Other shredders over the last 15 years have ended up in the pool. This one is a keeper. Never jams and is easy to see when it's time to dump.

    Super home machine
    I was really happy with the power and shredding capabilities of this machine. I had over a foot of paperwork that I needed to get rid of, and this made short order of it all. What I did was shred paper for 10 minutes and waited 10 minutes. Did not have to, just did not want to take any chances, it was only slightly warm, very good sign.
