Since glass is safer to microwave/drink from, I've always used glass jars when able, but when I saw these mugs (with handles!) I knew I had to have them. They are the size big coffee/tea drinkers adore and your beverage stays hotter longer in glass. I save the plastic lids to containers from grocery store purchases (upcycle and recycle!) and find the ones that fit right over the top of these mugs to further insulate my hot beverage from lowering temperatures once removed from the microwave. I gave it a 5 star rating because of the product, price, and concept, but wish there was a way the mugs were made minus the annoying "seams" in the glass, though that would not deter me from repurchasing when necessary. Anchor Hocking Glassware has been around for a long time, that was also a plus when considering my purchase. I knew I could trust a decent product was on its way. Wal-Mart S

Cracked quickly.
I had purchased these specifically for cocoa bombs this coming winter but figured they would also work well for my morning coffee. However this morning I went to use one for only the 2nd time and it cracked right through. The edges of these mugs are also rather rough, but due to the low cost for 4 mugs I was ok with that. But I will be returning these today hopefully... not sure except how since they had no packaging with a barcode when they arrived... but I'm sure Wal-Mart customer service can figure it out. Very disappointed with the quality. No matter the cost of a mug it should never crack so easily when it has only ever been used once.

    I didn't think drinking glasses needed a review, but Walmart does, so... I bought them to match some I'd acquired at Publix. Now I have 8. I love the weight of them, the handle, and especially the ease of washing. I don't just drink coffee or tea from them, they make great pen

    Not made well.
    I don't think these are true Anchor Hocking mugs. Knock offs? Many flaws and sharp edges. There is no anchor anchor emblem stamped on the bottom of the mugs like on real ones.

    Great Value, Great prices. Good basic mug.
    Large 16 oz plain glass mug for tea. Or soda. Or mixed drinks. Just about anything. Cheap. Strong. Anchor-Hocking brand. Love them. Over years, all glass gets brittle from repeated microwaving. My last set lasted between 10 and 15 years. For inexpensive glass mugs, these are great!

    Big problem.
    I absolutely loved the design of these. HOWEVER, there is a big problem with these beautiful cups. We've had two cups literally break WITHOUT even hitting them. I went to rinse the cup out in room temperature and the bottom literally snapped off without touching anything. It's like they just break without warning, without hitting them, etc... It's scary that they can do this, so, obviously, they are not safe to drink out of. I'm so bummed. I just loved the design. I would love to return but it's past the return time. So disappointed.

    Only one mug of four was useable
    One mug was broken at the handle, yet there was no evidence of damage to the packaging. Two mugs arrived with sharp edges at the seams, indicating there is a definite Qi issue. That left me with one mug. I did not return them because I refuse to go into a store with very few people having the sense to wear a mask. I just sent them out with Thursday's trash. Not impressed.

    Questionable Authenitc Anchor Cups - Poor quality
    One cup had a chunk of glass missing from the rim. A second cup's rim on the inside was sharp enough to slice a drinker's lips/tongue. A third cup had a cracked seam that had not cracked all the way through the glass. Authentic Anchor cups have USA and Anchor stamped/embossed on the bottom of the cups. Two cups did not have Anchor; one of the two also did not have USA. One cup's Anchor and two other cups' USA were sloppy--like it was a rushed afterthought to emboss the cups. I find it hard to believe the 4 cups were authentic Anchor, made in the USA cups. They looked more like knock-offs to me. What a waste of money.

    Delivered chipped and cracked
    I would have liked these except that one of them is chipped and has a small crack where the chip is. And, for whatever reason, WM says I can't return this item. I'll have to make a trip and return them to the store, hopefully that'll work. If not I'll be angry as I'm only returning them due to being delivered broken and unusable.
