Don't waste your money
Awful air conditioner. The fan is RIDICULOUSLY loud even on low. To the person who censored and "cut up" my honest review on the LG air conditioner about a month ago you are an arrogant jerk.

    Not good
    I do not recommend this air conditioner. I ordered this for my 94 yr old mother and It only worked for 2 months. We constantly called them and we couldn't get them to do anything about it. Don't waste your money.

    WHAT AN AWESOME $169.99 DEAL!!!
    This unit is awesome and would buy again and recommend to others. The 8,000 btu gets the job done. I do use in my living room while using our main heat and air unit. Helps out on utility bill a little. The only problem is that it kept cutting off my cable Tv box due to being on the same circuit. Plugged Tv box in another circuit now all is great. Also could not believe the price for this 8,000 btu unit. WHAT AN AWESOME $169.99 DEAL!!!

    Air conditioner arrived the day before the heat wave we ran it constantly for 3 days it was perfect cool not loud the 8000 BTU plus a 5000 BTU cooled my 6 room house would recommend the Amana very satisfied

    Awesome unit!
    We love the one we have and just bought a second one. The one we have is very quiet and cools the large bedroom bath perfectly. Hoping nothing has changed for the one I just ordered.

    Don't bother
    1 star for the original, and 1 for the replacement. This one will also be going back. The electronic panels go out. To their credit, they did replace the first one quickly. But for 2 to go bad in less than 6 mos. (each) tells me there is something drastically wrong.

    Awesome!
    This air conditioner is awesome. It cools an entire third floor. It's actually too cold for me and I have to turn if off at night. I have not used the remote yet but don't need it the control panel is simple enough. Only thing to check is how much my much more my electric bill will be but I have no complaints so far. Awesome unit

    Amanda 8,000 Btu. Air conditioner.
    This 8,000BTU unit puts out a good amount off cold air. Easy to use remote. Only thing missing is a fresh air vent.
