Great Printer For Small Businesses
I've never used a printer with refillable tanks, so when my printer arrived I couldnt wait to open it. Included was the printer, ink, power cord and a brief, but to the point instruction sheet. Each bottle of ink comes individually vacuumed sealed and also has a screw on top. The bottles do not leak when turned upside down, and must be fitted into the proper ink tank to fill. Did I mention it stops filling once full so it truly is mess free, and there are cutouts on the front which allow you to monitor ink levels at all times. The printer loads up instantly to the setup screen and states it'll take about 10 minutes. In all, with the alignment tests it took about double, but you can skip the alignment if you're not ready. The alignment test includes printing sheets, then you'll review the sheet and select which is best based on the question. Once the printer was set up I decided to connect it to my wifi as we have multiple computers, tablets and phones we print from. Setup was simple since I used the wps option. My only complaint was the location of some options on the touch screen. It was easy to hit the wrong option. Now with the printer set up it was time to test it out. I printed some coupons and the print quality was not impressive, but they printed fairly fast. After checking the settings I saw it was not set to high quality, so I changed that. This time printing a coloring page from the computer and it looked great. I decided to make a spreadsheet, complete with a color coded graph to print from the tablet. The colors were vibrant, and I was happy with the results. I then took the graph sheet and made a copy. The copy looked just as good as the original in terms of quality. Setting up wireless scanning was fairly simple as well. I do not have a landline/fax, so I was unable to test that feature. All in all, as an online reseller I dont expect my ink to last 2yrs due to my heavy use, but I do expect it to last a significant amount of time over my previous printer. Im satisfied with the quality, ease of use, and refill cost. This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-4760 All-In-One SuperTank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

No More Epsons
I'm still struggling with this printer. It's the worst printer I've ever had. Epson used have the best color, this is the worst. Going back for all these adjustments is so time-consuming.

    Nice Printer!
Nice print quality and hold a good amount of paper. Small footprint, does not take up a lot of desk space. A bit lengthy set-up. Takes about a half hour. Don't know why all the software cannot be installed at once. Had to go back and download the software for the scanner and fax. Needs a dedicated phone line and does not permit "daisy chain" connection like my old Epson 810.. Loading the ink is easy and spill free.

Epson EcoTank is a hit, buy it!
I was totally surprised by the ease of setup, and the quality of print of this item. I am also looking forward to the savings I will gain from not purchasing multiple print cartridges. The appearance is sleek and compact and fits nicely on my desk.. All in all I am vey pleased with this purchase.

Hey! I bought it for the ink savings and love the print!
I have had a home computer and printer since the 80's. I also used a computer and printer (dot-matrix, inkjets, and “lasers”) at work, since the 80's. I do occasionally print photographs and type-written things, but I would not say I am a high-volume home printer - perhaps a ream of paper every three to four months. Even with that I had to buy 3 - 4 sets of ink cartridges a year. I have had the Epson ET-4760 for about 2 weeks now and I can see it is, for the most part, what I have been wanting in a home Printer. The frustrating part of ink cartridges is that even though they appear to have ink in them, the Printer tells me they are empty and must be replaced to proceed. When I started seeing the Epson EcoTank system advertised, I was instantly interested. Other than the ink cartridge issue, my previous 4-in-1-Printer did a decent job and lasted over 12 years. Nevertheless, I am replacing it with the Epson ET-4760 to (hopefully) save big on ink from now on. Attached are a couple of pictures of it - one is of one of the first pictures I printed with it. It LQQKS just like the photograph! The colors and tone are true. A couple of things I do not like is it lacks a USB port in front. I was accustomed to scanning directly to a thumb drive. It is a minor issue as I just scan to the computer and then to the thumb drive. The command screen is very small, and not good for folks with reading glasses, and we are now using a pencil eraser to select things on the panel. Overall, it is a keeper!! No more ink cartridges!!

Nice printer but I think it's overpriced
It does save ink but also it's default is to print in less quality so if you want those super pretty pages that pop, your gonna use more ink! Now, what I don't like is the fact that it continually disconnects from WiFi and the only way I can get it to reconnect is to power off and back on. When it comes back on, it's signal is there. Next, doesn't hold as much paper as I'd like and the paper feed is directly under the exit tray. So if you have to refill during printing, you have to remove whatever has already been printed, push that tray in, etc. I left my Cannon Maxify thinking this was an better for the color portfolios I do. The print is dull. So yeah, I'd drop the price a couple hundred dollars. It's just not “all that and then some”

    Great item!
This is so much better than your standard copier/fax etc.. machine. Easy set up, I haven't had this for very long, but have made several copies and you can actually see it does not use much ink at all. I bought this because I wanted no more cartridges to replace. You'll love this item if you feel the same.

    Great printer
As a small business I was hesitant to move away from a laser printer but after using this printer for a bit I am glad I did. The printer itself is a bit on the expensive side but the cheaper cost of the ink compared to toner cartridges should make this printer pay for itself. Quality of the print is good and speeds are pretty good. Great product and great customer service.

    Does the Job
I've had the ET-4760 All-In-One for a couple weeks. It does a very good job and I look forward to getting thousands of pages without replacing ink cartridges! The Scan program requires a test preview in order to see how the scan will look, which is a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the machine.

    No more expensive ink cartridges!
I have had an Epson Ecotank 4760 for over a year and I am still on the ink that came with it. Amazing! I just purchased one as a gift for my son and his family of five. They all use a printer frequently, so I know they will save a lot of money on ink.

    Feature Packed Yet Compact
I owned an older Epson that was bulky. It was too old to work with my computer and it wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi. I had no choice but to replace it. Glad I did. I've never been so excited about a printer. My old one was for printing color photos for my mom and (late) grandmother long ago. Now I just need to have a printer primarily for return labels. I don't really need the color, but why not? Getting a new printer after over a decade feels like getting the latest phone. I'm excited about things others have been used to. Printing from my phone with an app that gives me stats? 2-year ink supply with a window to see the levels? So cool. I like that this has a full touch screen and fax option. I also like the design, that paper can stay in the tray and the scanner Most of all, I love the compact size. Minus one star for quality. It seems the quality of ink jet printers just hasn't improved over the years. Again, it's not for important stuff but the quality is the same as my old one.

    Powerhouse printer
I have been looking at the eco tanks since they came out and drooling over them. As a homeschool mom and a business owner, they seemed like a sound investment. I always hesitated because I wasn't sure if they lived up to their hype. Let me tell you - they do! From the sleek appearance and small (considering) footprint to the ease of use... this printer is perfect. It doesn't take up much more room on my desk than my $50 HP printer, which is a great thing. It prints without shaking the desk or making too much noise. The ink was very easy to install and the instructions were perfect. I've printer several things out so far and I love how it tells you what it's doing on the bright lcd screen that you can flip up and down for convenience. If you're not sure how many pages you have left, there are clear indicators as well as being able to see the ink in the tank. There's also a feature that allows you to print a status report type page that tells you how many color pages and how many black and white pages you've printed so far. All in all, the print quality is excellent. Every feature is easy to use and this has to be the simplest ink installation ever. I really love it and am so glad to use it for my everyday printing needs. Great For Office and Home
I am so pleased with this EcoTank ET-4760 printer and it's features. It is well made and has exceeded my expectations for my office and home printing needs. It prints great from a variety of devices and can handle small or larger printing needs. I like that it is compact and not too bulky. The EcoTank ink system is my favorite feature. The tanks are easy to fill with no mess. I love that I can see how much ink is left with the ink windows on the front of the printer. There is no more "Low Ink!" surprises while printing. The ink tanks hold a lot of ink and will last a long time. It is nice to no longer have to purchase expensive ink cartridges that do not last very long. The setup process was very easy. I was able to start basic printing after fifteen minutes or so. I did go back and to customize the settings to my preferences. The online user guide was a great tool and was helpful for the various features and settings. The control panel is bright and easy to see. It is also straightforward and easy to use. I also like that the control panel itself adjusts up and down. It allows you to view and use the control panel while seated or standing. I have multiple devices with different OS set up to print on this printer. Setup for each device was quick and simple. I also really liked Epson Connect so print documents can be emailed directly to the printer from anyone/anywhere. I also enabled my Echo and love that I can have Alexa print through voice command. I am happy with the print quality and that it prints quickly; both black and white and color copies. I like that I can make adjustments to the quality on printing as needed. I used a variety of paper types and was pleased with the print quality each time. The printer has also done a great job keeping up with simultaneous print requests and never froze or jammed. The paper tray is durable and I love that it can hold up to a half ream of copy paper. The tray is easy to adjust for different paper sizes. I really loved the ADF and that it will hold thirty sheets of paper. I would definitely recommend this printer. The EcoTank ET-4760 is great 4 in 1 printer for both business and home use. Great all-in-one & love the refillable ink tanks!
As someone who has used Epson products for years, I was excited when Epson came out with the EcoTank series. Not only do I like all the features but what really interested me was the ability to refill your ink tanks! For the initial setup, the ET-4760 was fairly easy to set up using the quick start instructions as well as easy to follow on-screen instructions. I was worried that filling the tanks myself would be a messy, complicated process but I couldn't have been more wrong! The tanks filled very easily & I had absolutely no mess. The only issue I had was when adding the final bit of ink after re-charging, I had to play with the bottles a bit because the ink initially didn't want to drain into the tanks. The printers no longer come with disks that include the necessary software but you can easily find it on the Epson website. The software & drivers installed with no problems. As far as the actual performance, I had no problem printing right off the bat via my wi-fi connection. I printed regular text pages, documents & photos & all printed with the usual Epson quality I've come to know over the years. It is quite a bit louder than the other Epson printers I've had in the past, though. This printer offers the option to select speed or quality, which can be a great ink saver when you don't need something printed with a high DPI. I do wish the paper tray was a bit more sturdy. It seems like it could easily break if it should get bumped. One thing I was disappointed about was the scanner. The ADF seemed a little finicky. Sometimes it would grab the paper crooked & jam & even after clearing the jam, I would have to re-start the printer to get the ADF to work again. Once I was able to actually scan, if I scanned from the computer it would scan fine but for the life of me I could not get the Scan to computer feature to work. I very often will scan photos & documents from my scanner to the computer (I also have an Artisan 837) so I'm very familiar with this feature. No matter what I did, I could not get it to work. I rebooted the computer, the printer, my modem & my router. I also re-installed the software & nothing worked. I still haven't been able to get it to work. It never recognizes my computer for some reason but yet if I go into the Epson Scan 2 software or Adobe Photoshop, the scanner is there. I have dual 2G/5G internet connection but the printer only recognizes the 2G connection. My next step is to change my computer from 5G to 2G to see if they both have be on the same connection for that feature to work. This printer does also offer the fax feature but so far I haven't had a chance to test that out. Overall, I really do like this printer & would recommend it because of all the great features, including the refillable tanks. Not only can the tanks last up to 2 years but I think being able to refill them yourself can save you money in the long run. Great Printer!
Setting up the Epson ET-4760 was a breeze! I was in awe about the ink lasting 2 years. It states that you can print about 7,000 pages before you need to refill the ink. I was nervous about filling the ink tanks up but I put a piece of old fabric on the floor to sit the printer on and filled the ink tanks as instructed. It comes with 4 bottles of different colored ink. I didn't experience any leakage at all. The setup process took about 45 minutes. I also setup the printer to my smartphone so I can print from there as well. I downloaded the Epson Iprint app to my phone. It gives the ink levels and allows you to perform maintenance on the printer like head cleaning, nozzle check and update firmware. You can also connect your cloud accounts from Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote. The print quality is amazing!! I have printed several pictures from my smartphone and they are flawless. You can select different print sizes which is a plus. I have printed documents from my laptop, tablet, and used the cloud service with no issues. I have also scanned several documents to my laptop. It allows you to save as a pdf or jpeg. You can also send faxes. I currently do not have a line to connect but I definitely will get one now. If you own an Amazon Alexa device, there is an Epson Skill you can enable. I also like that you can send prints from anywhere by emailing to the printer's email address. It will allow you to change the name of the email address if you prefer. I have emailed documents from work to print directly to the printer. What an awesome feature!! So far I have no complaints with this printer. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Easy set up. Loads of features!
Upon arrival the unboxing of the item was fairly simple. During assembly, I loved how easy it was to fill the ink tanks. This thing has LOADS of amazing features. For example: a raising control panel that allows for easier accessibility towards task completion. The paper tray is easy load and the print quality GRADE A! I did however have one issue at set up during wireless connection. Instead of the program detecting connection on it's own, I had to enter it manually. Other than that the printer and computer works well together providing step by step intructions to complete your set up with ease. There is STILL much I enjoy about this product. You can connect your printer to Amazon Alexa. With that it allows you to command Alexa to complete ALL your printing tasks while hands free and on the move! You can print shopping lists, calenders, seasonal photo props, graph paper and much, much more! That being said, overall I truly enjoyed this item 1st time use and I highly recommend this as a space saving device that has it ALL! GREAT ECONOMICAL PRINTER FOR A SMALL BUSINESS
As a business owner, this is a great printer to have because of all the functions it offers. It is very convenient to have a printer that prints, copys, scans, and faxes all in one machine. It is also very beneficial and easier to accomplish my tasks faster because it offers wireless connectivity from my phone and laptop. My favorite thing about this printer is the amount of ink that comes with the printer and how long it lasts. I have always used cartridges up until now and they are so expensive and if you dont print on a regular basis, the cartridges and print heads dry up before they are empty. I spent way too much money on ink up until now. I love love love the idea of the ecotank feature!!! Setup took a little time, but it was easy to do. The only two things I was not overly excited about was the flimsy paper tray and the scanning feature was slower than I anticipated, but those things are not real important to me as my biggest concern is the money and time this printer will save me in ink and all the different features it has. The printing feature went real smooth. I am so excited to move forward in my business with this printer.
