We bought this as an addition to an existing set. The toddlers love the flower pieces and the older children love the animal faces. I'm glad I only paid $25 for it.

I felt like this was bait and switch
I paid for a duplo set for $30. They said I would be notified when to pick it up. When I was notified that the set was not available, the price had gone up to $83.

The classic 2x2 and 2x4 pieces lend themselves better to creative building and there are very few in this set. There are only a couple 2x4 bricks. My one year old still likes them a lot.Megan

We made every animal in the book then switched them around to make up our own silly animals. The 2 year old enjoys dumping them out and throwing them but he may start playing more appropriately when he gets a little older. They do throw well too.PDXMom

I love LEGO block and wanted to start my kids on them at a young age, I bought a LEGO classic and they hated it because it was so hard. I was a little disappointed, then I found this one on sale around Black Friday and I bought it. Now my kids love it and they make all the animals and all kinds of stuff for me. They also started to use the regular LEGO blocks as well, but they prefer this one. I would recommend it as a starter set for every kid. It makes them so creative.Rjlmama
