No more guesswork.
This battery tester can check any size battery, from "button" cells through 9 volt rectangular, alkaline or rechargeable. The meter displays the full range of power left in the battery, from "replace" to "good." If you use rechargeables, you can tell how much power it has after recharging, or if it is time to replace it.

Complete
New design does not give a complete comprehensive test as previous models from years past have done, and priced higher for lesser functions.

The price is amazing, the functionality is simple, the uses are more than AA and AAA batteries. overall amazing purchase for under $10.

    Mostly positive
Liked that it tested all types of batteries. Didn't like that it is hard to place battery in testing position and hard to hold it there to get results

    good to have
works pretty good. You do have to hold the battery in with the side of the movable piece, would have been better if there was a slot to put into , but because it tests all size batteries, this is probably why.

Very old scholl, no fuss, if-you passed-the -third-grade-you-can-operate-this battery tester. Does not require batteries (which is sort of ironic because if you had a working battery you would not likely need the baytery test. lol) One simply squeezes the positive and the negative ends of any size battery between the two poles, and the gauge needle will swing to the level to show the amount of “juice” still left in the battery. The only way to mess it up is the insert the battety upside down, then the tester needle obviously will not move.

    Inexpensive and it works.
A little easier to use than my old tester that died. My old tester had wire leads that over the years were harder to use, I assume from compromised conductivity from corrosion. My old tester had a wider range of batteries you could test, but this one works for 99 percent of the batteries I use. My old tester finally died completely, probably over 30 years old.
