Don't buy the premixed. You're paying for the added water. I always keep my last empty jug and split the new bottle half and half with water so one purchase of concentrate makes 2 gallons. Do the math!

Is it OAT? Who knows?
Description online says OAT but nowhere on container is that written. Let's hope it is but just in case make sure to flush all the old OAT out of your system as it will not mix well with non OAT.

    Why ship water? Buy concentrate.
Great to be able to buy concentrate instead of paying shipping for water.

    Good quality and economically priced.
This works just as good as any name brand anti-freeze, at a cheaper price.

    Great Price!
I use this antifreeze in all my vehicles because not only is the price great but it works as well as the pricier name brands! And here's a little secret shhh…don't tell anyone! The Concentrate 1 gallon can be mixed with water to make 2 gallons which is the same as if you bought 2 gallons of 50/50 antifreeze/coolant but you're only paying for 1 gallon of the concentrate which SAVES MONEY and with Today's Economy every little bit helps! It's kinda like BOGO! This works great for Winter's Cold temps or Summer's heat! I've never had a problem with it! Really good product at a great price! I highly recommend it! Take care!

Walmart Antifreeze is a great value
I know there are only a couple of manufacturing plants that produce antifreeze in our country, so the walmart brand is made in the same plants as all the other big names that charge a higher price for the same thing. One other big difference is the concentrate, it is only a couple bucks more than the 50/50 mix, so why would you pay for 50% water?

container doesn't have a gallon of coolant in it.
I purchased 6 containers of the extended life antifreeze. In mixing I found that there is not a gallon in the container. There is approx. 3 1/3 qts. How I arrive at this was I used a empty extened life empty container fill it up to the 2 qt. line on the container poured in the extended life and filled it up. Technically I still should have 2 qts in the container. I didn't I have less that 2 qts by quite a bit. Needless to say I did this with 2 different containers. Same result. This also effects the freezing protection level of the antifreeze. If you look at the container the 3 quart line compare to the 2 quart line it is 2 3/16" spacing. If you take and measure the distance from the 3 quart line to the top of the neck it is 1/2" from the container cap. You also have the handle taking up that space also. Therefore the container does not have a gallon of coolant which is what you are paying for.

Super Tech Antifreeze is my Go-To!
I have found that the Super Tech antifreeze formulas are as good, if not better than the brand name coolants! I have used Super Tech antifreeze in my cars for the past few years and have been thoroughly impressed with the quality and performance. Thank you for saving me some money on my car maintenance. One of the previous reviews stated that someone added water to a 50/50 blend....it says right on the label that it's READY TO USE. I have no doubt that they had problems.

    Water in antifreeze
Don't ever mix any antifreeze with tap water. It has impurities that cause rust. Use distilled water (less than $1 a gal). Always mix full strength antifreeze with this.

    Repeat buyer of this
I get a couple of gallons of this every year so I can flush my truck's system and replace. Never had any problems with it. Obviously it is able to handle the low temps pretty good.

Radiator and Heater core always need annual flush
use this once a year in our car and truck. we use a flush kit installed and purchased at walmart. hook up garden hose on low to flush. remember to heat up motor and turn heater on. then follow directions on flush kit. Super Tech concentrate Extended Life is the best Anti Freeze for our needs.

It is not Propylene Glycol based, as a previous person wrote. It's Ethylene Glycol, which is actually stamped right on the box. All automotive coolant is made from Ethylene Glycol. Propylene Glycol is used to make cosmetic and personal care products, not automotive coolant. lol.

    Best choice
This is an OAT type anti freeze that is propylene glycol based. Much less harmful to the environment and animals yet does an outstanding job of protecting your cooling system (all metals) as long as you use pure water. I use distilled water and always use a rinse and flush, never a dump and fill. Lubegard makes a great no rinse flush to use when you change the coolant and a additive that you can use about 2 1/2 years into the 5 year cycle to refresh the coolants additive pack. I have used many gallons of this helping old people with car maintenance. This is the coolant to buy.
