I'm Sold
This vacuum is lighter than my 20 year old Kenmore. I see why Consumer Reports still rates Kenmore highest. Picks up lint and litter all the way to corners. Just enough attachments. I'm sold! The only reason I would buy a different model is for the upholstery beater brush, but the one from my old Kenmore works fine.

Don't buy
I didn't even bother to plug it in. It's of such poor design and quality. Honestly with that tiny oddly shaped bare floor tool it would take forever to vacuum. The upholstery brush is not like pictured. It's just a piece of plastic with no bristles. What happened to Kenmore? Everything is cheaply made to break. I miss the quality you got 30 years ago.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/22/2022Pretty good machine.Suction is great; in fact it's so strong it pulls the brushes of the accessories inside out which is a bit annoying. The cord needs to be pulled ALL the way out or it will ooze back in as you vacuum. Personally, I could use a floor accessory since I have wood floors not wall to wall carpet. The one provided is heavier and more than I need.sharprone

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/13/2022Nice entry level canister VacuumSo far it's good, just used it twice, attachments work good for getting in corners. It's our first canister vacuum and were finding it a little awkward carrying it and moving it around.Russ

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/03/2021Pleasantly surprisedLightweight but powerful. Easy to maneuver. Visually attractive. Attachments from a deceased Kenmore Progressive fit and work on this vac, including the motorized Petmate brush roll for upholstery and a wider floor attachment. No headlight, so turn on room lights and/or keep a flashlight handy. Wand a bit short, but not much. Easy release for the wand. On/off switch on canister, so switch to Floor setting when moving between rugs or rooms. Got it recently so no comment on lifespan. Good value. Very pleased with this purchase. Recommend.Barbara

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/19/2021Really sucks!Got this to replace a Panasonic canister vac that died and it completely outperforms the Panasonic. Extra long cord, well thought out controls, great engineering and construction. Awesome value for the price!Darryl

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/24/2021KenmoreRaising or lowering the levels is a poor process and dragging it around in small areas is a pain but works well for steps and places your full size upright doesn't work better.kirk

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/25/2021Kenmore forever!Having grown up with Kenmore vacuum cleaners, I took clean floors for granted. Until on recommendation I bought a new, fancier brand. After struggling with it for two years and having my house practically turn into a ball of pet fur, I put it in the garbage. Two trips through with my new Kenmore, and my house feels like my house again! Thank you, Kenmore.Tina

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/23/2021Like vacuum but has cheap hard floor attachmentI really like this vacuum. The only negative is the hard floor attachment. If you don't hold your arm down alongside your leg, the plastic head scrapes the tile. My old Hoover vacuum attachment had lots of bristles and went completely around the edges so the plastic never touched the floor. This attachment is cheaply made and a big disappointment because my house is about 60% tile. But, I still gave it 5 stars because everything else about it is great.Prescott3

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/12/2021Not up to standardsVacuum worked well, but dust seemed to come through the bag and filter. You can actually see dust come out the exhaust when you turn it on. Bags cannot be found in stores and have to be ordered. Worst part is the vacuum lasted right at one year(it is only warranted for 1 year)and the motor began to burn up. Since Ive never had a vacuum last such a short time, I saw no need for an extended warranty, now I am needing to replace it. If this were a $50 vacuum I would not be surprised, but something that costs over $200 should last a few years. I guess the Kenmore name is not as reliable as it once was.Dolan

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/10/2021Recognized, esteemed name. It's doesn't seem as strongly constructed as my previous vacuum; ie I'm not sure how sturdy it will stay. But, it works well, is maneuverable for a smaller framed person and has appropriate adjustments. I really haven't used it enough to form a valid opinion.auntjj1
