Best of the best
I used Round-up concentrate before I gave Spectracide a try years ago, and this stuff definitely works better, last longer, and ends up saving us money in the long run. 7-8 ounces per gallon of water gets the job done. We currently have 3 acres of land that I take care of that’s not wooded and I only have to buy one bottle of Spectracide a year to do both sides of our drive, mailbox, house, utility shed, a couple of security light poles, AC unit and various other things, I live by this brand for most of our outdoor needs, their Ant Shield is phenomenal as well. The weed killer has made it where I haven’t had to use a weed eater in over 15 years. Highly recommend Spectracide products.

Does not kill my weeds.
This stuff does not kill anything I spray it on. I have made it 4 times as strong and still no results. I would never buy this again. I will get something with glyphosate in it next time. Not worth the cheaper price.

    Killer weed killer….
I like my yard and surrounding my home and property to be weed free. This weed killer is the answer to my prayers. It works great. My property looks great too.

You won't be disappointed using this product...
... but you can if you use a competitors. The most widely used herbicide found in the majority of brands of weed killer is glyphosate. It works, it kills weeds. It works on humans, too. There's currently a lawsuit against Monsanto, the makers of Round Up, due to the fact that people exposed to glyphosate eventually get a form of cancer or Parkinsons and die. I doubt it's safe to use Spectracide like it's cologne, I'm sure its unhealthy, but I haven't heard of any class action lawsuits against Spectracide.  The major ingredient in the competitors can vary in strength from 18% to as high as 73%. The most common is 41%, I've used it, it works, but Spectracide kills weeds faster. There's no guess work on the correct strength to buy but there is on the amount to mix with water. The manufacturer recommends between 5 - 7 ounces per gallon of water depending upon how tough the weed is. I fill a 2 gallon sprayer with water, pour 14oz of poison in it, shake it once or twice and start spraying. If the average size of the weeds is 10" or less,  I spray. If they're taller, I'll use a field mower and cut 'em shorter. Then I'll usually wait about two days before spraying them. My reason for doing this is 1), I'll use less poison on a shorter plant than I will on a taller one, and 2) I wait two days to give the freshly cut weed some time to come out of shock so it'll start absorbing nutrients (or poison). This is just my own personal ideology, it's not based upon any scientific facts. Spectricide will kill weeds quickly, between 1-3 days. Products containing glyphosate will too, but depending upon what strength you use determines how fast they die. Keep in mind several things. My experience revolves around common weeds found here in Nevada. The weeds growing in your state may be completely different and therefore may react differently. Be prepared to spray a second time either because your first application wasn't adequate enough or a second crop of weeds has sprouted either due to new seeds blown in by the wjnd or a temperature change that is encouraging more seeds to now germinate. When spraying weeds, the goal is to cover the foliage with as much solution as possible. Therefore using a very fine mist is absolutely preferable. Coat the weed as much as possible, don't spray the dirt hoping the roots will absorb it because it wont do any good. I have sprayed countless weeds in flower gardens and as long as the solution contacts only the leaves of the weed, that's what will die. What else can I say? This is good stuff. So is 73% glyphosate sold by Round Up, but it's very expensive and let's not forget carcinogenic as well. Spectricide is the best herbicide at the lowest price that money can buy. No, I'm not being paid or compensated for my review, this is just my honest opinion. I have 29 clients that each own a minimum of 1.25 acres plus my own 5 acres and I've used twenty two 40oz bottles so far this year! My only complaint is that I can't find any one or five gallon containers. Oh well. Good luck!

    Good but not great
With this weed killer, a little goes a long way. It will be many applications before my bottle is empty. My first application worked well but left a few weeds alive. A second application will be needed.

    GOOD deal!
The price per unit was about $7 less than other stores in the area. Buying 3 placed me short of the $39 dollar free shipping. Didn't want 4 so had to buy the premixed gallon sprayer to meet the limit. Concentrate lasts for years. FAST SHIP!!!

    Kills graveyard dead!
I bought some spectracide towards the end of summer but didn't use it until the last 2 weeks, I have already ordered more. You can start to see that it is working in just hours and as little as 2 days whatever you spay is dead. Beats weedeating!

    Poisonous packaging
I love this product and have been using it for years. Unfortunately I received the package wet and contaminated from an open bottle that was ajar. I also purchased a lipstick with this order flopping loose in the wet poison. Had to throw away the new lipstick. It was not packaged either.

    Effective, immediate results
Stop fooling around, exposing yourself to carcinogens. Just call it a day, and get Spectracide, suit up, mask up, and kill that vegetation with a single application. Then take a cool shower, plenty of soap and shampoo. Voila. You're DONE.

This stuff actually works and fast.
I have tried every weed grass killer on the market and this is the only one that i can see is actually working by the end of the same day that i sprayed. I have even sprayed and had it rain a couple of hours later it didn't affect it.

I could not believe the low price, 40% less than the Home stores! At this low price it was time to stock up, so I bought 5 bottles. Does a great job on all kinds of weeds.

Killed weeds with one application overnight
Works as described. Weeds in driveway were dead the following day. Previous product that we were using took forever so this was a first time purchase, but it won't be the last.

Chemicals are not the same-poor results
Had to spray a small patch of weeds three times. I dont know if it penetrated to the roots. Its just a patch of dead covering. The formula is weak on all lawn products and you get less for your money. You pay more and get less results. It looks as if I will have to do it the old fashion way- - chop it with a hoe. It may work with weeds cut to the ground- then that defeats the purpose.

    Great price great product.
I definitely saved tons of money on this. I had been buying the big gallon ones for a couple years now. When i seen this, i knew this was my answer to weeds and grass in areas that I don't want to weed eat. I mixed mine to the 17 tablespoons and killed every thing I sprayed!! Thank you Walmart for stocking this product instead of gallon ones only. Saved tons of money..

Napalm is better but this is good.
I've used this a few times, my back, back yard was a weed choked mess and to keep it under control I spray an area abot 25 x 50 once a year, I know the directions say 5 fl oz per gallon I think that's for wimpy weeds, I have inner city in your face, we fight back weeds so I have found that 15 fl oz per gallon does an excellent job, it takes about 2 gallons of mix and I use a 2 gallon pump sprayer to apply, after a few days everything is dead or dying and easy to get rid of, this keeps it very under control for the rest of Summer.

    taking care of business
first time I ordered the pre mixed gallon with the sprayer and since then ordered the concentrate to mix my own. This stuff actually works great and you notice results the next day. 15 mins after spraying it becomes water resistant so a rain shower won't wash or dilute what you had just put out. I highly recommend.

    Good Stuff. Period!!
Best weed and grass killer on the market and at this price ($10.40) you just can't go wrong. After 24 hours from the application, grass/weeds are dead, dead, dead! New weeds will grow up in the same area sometime later but that is normal with any weed/grass killer. This stuff is not nuclear, meaning that stuff will not live or grow for a half-life of 99 years!

    This stuff WORKS!
I find Spectracide to be as effective as Roundup. When spraying extremely aggressive weeds at lake house (in Northern Indiana) I use the concentrated formula, as to be able to adjust (increase) strength of formula for more aggressive growth of weeds. I mix 8-9 oz per gal of water, into a 2 gal sprayer and watch the unwanted creepers disappear after a few days! This stuff WORKS and is so much more economical and [supposedly] safer than roundup. This will kill actively growing weeds, it will not prevent future growth, thats what Preen is for!
