Nice little speaker
This is loud for it's size and the sound quality is good. I use this outside in my yard and it's loud enough to zone out neighborhood noise. It works outside while my iPad is in the house. It doesn't need to be charged often. I can use this for days without having to charge it. It's lightweight and convenient. I can use it while it's charging. It automatically shuts off when not being used so it stays charged.

Broke after I tried to charge it
I've had this speaker for only 5 months. It worked great and I literally didn't have to charge it until this month. I plugged in the charge cord, and the light turned red. After a while (few hrs maybe? ) the red light turned off. I assumed it was all charged and ready to be used again. I then tried turning it on and nothing happened. I tried plugging the charge cord in again, the light turns on briefly, but then nothing. This BT Anker speaker is broken and no longer usable. I'm sad. It's past the return period.

    Great sound and performance
This is a great little speaker. Really surprised by the volume and sound quality. This is also the best performing, longest-range Bluetooth device I've ever used with my phone. I can leave my phone on the charger in the kitchen and carry this speaker upstairs, into the garage or backyard without a hiccup. I'm completely impressed and totally satisfied with this purchase. If I needed another speaker I wouldn't hesitate to go right back to this product. The ONLY completely minor complaint I might have is that it uses an older USB-B charging port instead of the latest USB-C. Have to pay particular attention when plugging in to charge but I admit that is barely worth mentioning.

Decent little speaker for the money
I bought this mainly to use with my new corporate Dell laptop because the speakers on that thing are terrible (my problem, not theirs). The Anker sound is good, no real bass to speak of though, and you will definitely not "fill a large room" with the volume it can produce, but as a small, "sitting a few feet away from it" type of speaker, it's perfect. BT connectivity is stable, no dropping, etc., so far anyhow. There isn't any noticeable "dialogue lag" when streaming TV or watching videos. I also bought an OontZ Angle 3 at the same time (it is priced around the same as well), but that one has very obvious "lag" when watching TV. The lips do not match the sound, and I find that to be quite annoying after a minute or so! Overall the Anker is a decent little BT speaker, as long as you have realistic expectations and keep in mind it is a 20-something dollar item that was likely designed to last a year or 2 at best, you will not be disappointed.

    Must have device.
This little device is AWESOME. The sound is marvelous. The only thing that can be improved is the controls on top. If you get the black speaker it is hard to make out the controls on top. Outside of that it is great and I recommend.

    Great sound - terrible reliability.
I bought an Anker and loved the sound, so I bought another one. But both have reliability problems. The second one I bought - after one month the charging cord connector and charging plug burnt to a crisp while charging. Thankfully I was home and smelled something weird so I caught it before it could potentially start a fire. I have been using the first one for about a year - now suddenly about every 10-15 minutes there is a loud POP and it disconnects from the Bluetooth. Plus it has had charging issues on and off for some time as well. I guess you get what you pay for - so I will spend more and hope for something better.

    Anker small but mighty
I expected this speaker to be larger, it's about 1 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. The sound is excellent, no distortion, no tinny sound. I use it on my lenai. I had difficulty linking it to my echo show, then decided to link to my phone. Once linked to phone, I cancelled the link and linked successfully to my echo. I have had it about a week now and have not had to recharge. I would recommend this to a friend.

    So Gwood!
Yes the reviews are true! This is awesome and gives fantastically loud sound without distortion. Easy to sync, big buttons and butter soft to touch. Well worth the $20

    Holy Cow,it’s impressive!
So I was intrigued by the other postive reviews and insanely low price, so I thought that I’d give it a try...I mean Walmart accepts anything you care to return as long as you have the reciept, so yeah... Right out of the box it synched up with my Ipad Mini 4 flawlessly, so far so good. It’s quite loud for it’s size, too. So far using no music EQ with Apple Music and it sounds pretty amazing for $20. That being sad, I have had just a little annoying rumbling with heavier bass when playing Rock music, but not nearly bad enough to say that I would want to return it. I mean, it’s $20 for a Bluetooth speaker loud enough to fill the back yard. I believe the negative reviews are written by posh folks that have money to blow on items like high end Bluetooth speakers, not your average middle class, head above water-paycheck to paycheck types who look for $20 speakers on Walmart.com. So far, I’m very pleased with my off brand, Anker speaker and believe it to be worthy of the $20 and then some!

    Great little speaker.
I love this speaker. It's small in size but big in sound quality. It feels very well made and looks cool with the rubbery non-slip skin covering the case, which would also help absorb impact from a drop. It sounds really good with a lot of bass for it's size. It has a forward facing bass port to give it better bass and sounds much better then a rear passive bass diaphragm like some other similarly sized speakers have. It also gets pretty loud but didn't distort the music at all. The battery life is crazy good and probably is 24 hours as advertised. I haven't timed it but it seems to last forever compared to other speakers I've owned which seem to die after 6-8 hours, where as the Anker will last multiple days. I've taken the unit apart and it is very well made with a pair of 2200 mA hours 18650 batteries in parallel for a total of 4400 mA hours. So if the batteries die I'll be able to replace with larger batteries for even more run time. I really love the speaker and highly recommend it if you need a small speaker with long run time that sounds awesome.
