Best motor oil value !
How can you beat the <$5 qt price for this unbelievable product, Mobil 1 along with K&W air filters have given me 2-4 mpg average with my last 6 cars/suv - my current suv EPA @ 21/25, and I've been averaging 24.5/28, with my last two 500+ trips @ 30+ hwy.
When you need 5 qts. every change, it a no-brainer - plus the jug doubles as a container to recycle you old oil. GO Mobil 1 !!!

I am going all synthetic now!
I bought this when I decided to change oil and the price differential between synthetic and regular was only about $1 a quart. What a deal! My maintenance manual says I only have to change oil 1/2 as frequently if I use synthetic - so less work and less cost. What a great deal!
I read reviews on the internet and people were happy with this oil. I drive regular (about 1000-1500 miles a month), and change oil regularly, so I am unlikely to see if using a different oil really makes a difference.
Thank you Walmart for keeping the prices low.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/12/2022Best price around, beats all the autoparts storesExcellent oil and the best price around if you buy it on-line and get free delivery. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've ordered it. This time the oil was leaking out of the box and all over the inside of the FedEx truck. I refused delivery and got in touch with Walmart. They sent me more oil the next day.Jim

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/21/2022Great reliable synthetic oil brandHaving been using Mobil-1 in my vehicles for nearly 20 years. Never had an engine problem. The 5qt. is more economical than buying 1 quart at a time. The side of the bottle allows you to easily see how much you have left. Would recommend.dsramos98

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/26/2020Good oil @ good price (with rebate)Mobile 1 has been a long time reliable oil, one of the best for your car's engine. When it goes on sale, it's a no brainer to stock up. Mobile does do rebate every year, usually in late summer/early Fall. The rebate is also easy to do, if you have the correct document. FYI, when I bought this oil from a physical Walmart, the receipt says "Mobile 1 0w-20" but regular Mobile 1 is NOT eligible for rebate, it has to be Mobile 1 Advanced Fuel Economy, but unfortunately, Walmart store's receipt is not clear on the name. When I bought this oil from Walmart.com, the receipt is very clear, it actually lists its full name, the rebate was approved by Mobile two days after the submission!!MikeOfNaperville

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/14/2020WalMart beats Amazon on price for this item!I'm in my mid 70s have used Mobile 1 in various cars and trucks in the past. There are other synthetic brands that are a few dollars less but I stick with Mobil 1 from experience. I bought 0w-20 for my 2016 and 5w-30 for my 2003, according to the owner's manuals. I got mine from WalMart because that was cheaper than from Amazon and it included free delivery.Ho

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/03/2020Saves fuel for realI switched From Castrol Full Synthetic to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic a couple of oil changed ago. Since then I've noticed an increase in fuel economy, a little over one more mile per gallon. In the long run it probably doesn't save me any money however the mileage gains are a result in reduced engine friction which should mean having an engine that lasts a lot longer.Mark

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/22/2014Grate for SUBARU Motor 0-20W neededI have a SUBARU Impreza that needs 0-20W motor oil. Untill now, it runs almost same MPG as the original motor oil of SUBARU. Maybe a little bit lower engine noise than SUBARU genuine motor oil. I ran 90% in highway with 33.3 MPG for factory engine oil. With Mobil1 I got 33 MPG, it is almost same as SUBARU genuine engine oil. Recommend for SUBARU Impreza or Crosstak owners.Cederline

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/06/2014Oil used for my 2012 CT200hI couldn't believe what dealers now days charge for an oil change. I was quoted $250.00 however with a coupon was able to get away with $150.00 which is still big hurdle. I spent some time doing the oil change on my own. This oil works just as good as Toyota oil. I've always trusted Mobil oil as in my opinion they are a leader in their expertise. Since I drive a hybrid - this oil should last me another 10k miles.BigAlx

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/04/20141 Great OilI have been using Mobil 1 in all my cars since Mobil first put it on the market. Here is why: I was a fighter pilot in the Navy during Vietnam. My last duty was as a functional test pilot at the Naval Air Rework Facility in Pensacola, Florida. On one test flight, in an A-4 Skyhawk, I was at 40,000 feet about 125 miles south of the main field at Pensacola Naval Air Station. A hose (pipe) broke and I lost all my engine oil in about 15 seconds. The procedure was to set 92% RPM, about 27,000 RPM, and minimize stress on the engine until short final, and then s l o w l y reduce power to idle when the runway was made. I declared my emergency and returned to Sherman Field. It took 25 minutes to get back and, when the runway was made, I slowly reduced power to idle. The engine seized, stopping from 27,000 RPM to dead stop is about 2 seconds. It torqued the airframe about 45 degrees, from which I recovered and rolled out without an engine. When I asked the Pratt Whitney rep how I had been able to fly for 25 minutes with no oil he explained that the Navy jet aircraft used synthetic oil made by Mobil Oil. At that time it was not available for cars, but once it was I immediately changed my cars to Mobil 1. I had bought a Honda Accord when they were first brought to the US. After 11 months and 12,000 miles there was a recall because Honda had found that head bolts had not been tempered properly. As my wife and I waited in the waiting area a mechanic came out holding something in a large shop rag. He asked if the Accord was ours. He then showed us what was in the rag. It was our Cam Shaft. He wanted to know if we had changed the Cam, because when he cleaned it up it had absolutely no wear marks and could have been put back on the rack and sold as new. He wanted to know how this was possible. I explained my history with Mobil synthetic oils. I told him I had changed to Mobil 1 when the break-in was done at 500 miles. I changed again at 1,000 miles to get rid of the rest of the regular oil that was in the system. (I changed the oil filter at the same time, also.) He changed his own car over to Mobil 1. Besides that, the price I paid at Walmart was less than half what everyone else was charging, including online. The bottom line: The best oil at an impressive price. It doesn't get any better than that.Tripole

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/13/201339.5 mpg on a 2001 Honda Civic EXNotes: 228,000 miles 2001 Honda Civic EX sedan - 4 speed automatic Change oil every 10,000 miles Filter used = XG Fram My car is rated at 35mpg by Edmunds. With this oil, I've been averaging 39.5 mpg and actually reached 40 mpg during a 180 mile non-stop road trip. It's important to note that the A/C was not on during these road trips, with the A/C on I only get 35mpg and that's probably what Edmunds was calculating. Not bad considering that my car does have 228,000 miles, I've been using this oil since 165,000 miles and it performs better than their Mobil 1 Full Synthetic High Mileage which only gave me 33mpg. I didn't notice any sealing changes from that oil so that's why I switched back to the Advanced Fuel Economy oil.ConsumerReporter2020
