This is the best battery to buy get it its a marine battery, they last longer because the battery cells are individually separated so upon if needed recharging the cells dont burn all at once. In other words every time you recharge you are not killing the battery as the other not marine batteries. Get it

Doesn't match the picture.
Oddly it doesn't look like the picture in the ad. The battery I received while it is wdc27 it is 800MCA and is maintenance free. It is MCA 800 RC 170 12 volt. The terminal pattern is different too. So clearly this is a newer batch but I need to be assured it will have the same or more amp hours. Not so sure I like the sealed instead. Oh and no terminal cap bolts. So once I get my battery charger I will be able to check the amp hours I presume but for now I am perplexed. I will give proper review once I find out what I have here.

for my purposes in my RV 2 of these batteries were perfect and the price was fantastic. i replaced four 6 volt batteries with two of these 12 volt batteries. i don't do much dry camping and also have a large solar charging panel on the roof of my RV.

    Invoicing not correct.
Do not like the way invoices are generated. When there is a core charge, it should be printed on the invoice, not included in the tax charge. Other than that, very satisafied with the Batteries I bought.

I didn't like the hassle that it took for me to pick up curbside and then still have to get down and have to go through an act of congress to get the core charge I guess curbside service works for the people that don't have to get down

    Been burned too many times
They tossed a "new" 6 yr old battery in my lift gate at curbside. I shouldnt have to inspect it but obviously should have. Got home to find a sticker on it indicating its mfg date of May, 2017. Tested at 1.9 Volts. A refund was provided thankfully after having to jump through some hoops of having the automotive dept check the battery with their official tester (same result). Advice: Take a look at what they give you before you leave and check the sticker. Make sure no more than a month or two old. Also bring a voltmeter, should test at 12.8 Volts minimum. Dont try to save time like I did. Go into the store (or maybe elsewhere). I've had too many bad experiences with Wal-mart Batteries over the years to recommend going forward, but otherwise Wal-mart products and curbside pickup rocks.

    Dead On Arrival
Turns out the battery had no charge when I received it. This is the first time I purchased a battery that was not charged. Consequently I had to charge it before I could use it. It would have been nice to have been informed by a sticker or not on the battery to charge before use.

    Excellent battery
This battery has the same ratings as one for a back up sump pump from the Depot. This one is half the price. Needed to drill a 1/16 hole in one battery cap for the fluid level sensor. Buy this one !

Core charges are described as tax on invoice.
Purchased 3 for my 36 volt Yamaha golf cart. Haven't installed as yet but wanted to say the " tax" seems to also include a "core" charge so returning 3 old batteries to Walmart. So a word to those who have them, don't forget to return old batteries to get some of your $$ back.

    Overcharging on Price
I cancelled this item as the battery was listed as $93.06 and I needed two. Then when the charge came thru for pick-up, there was a $76.00 tax charge??? I went to COSTCO and got two batteries without the weird Tax Charge. Walmart has deceptive advertising, be careful when you buy on-line for pick-up.

Old mfg date as delivered, but works fine
The battery that was delivered to my house had a mfg date that was 1 year and 2 months old. That is old for a battery to be sold as new. I put it on the charger and tested and is OK for now, but I am expecting I will not get the same time life out of this battery as another I purchased with a mfg date that was only 3 months old. Unfortunately the warranty is only a year from purchase date so it will most probably last at least that long. So, overall this battery will probably not have the same value to me in the long run as a newer one. Worked great on my recent fishing trip. A charge would run the trolling motor all day...so it is doing what it is supposed to do.

    NOT 109 amp/hours
I ordered 2 of these for curb side pick up bacuse the description states 109 Amp/Hr. Once home and installed, I notised they are only rated 80AH and only for 20 hours (not 24), which makes them only about 60AH by indestry standards. Unacceptable

    Good batteries.
I run a pair of these 27 DCs in my 01 Dodge Cummins instead of Group 27s. I use the threaded posts for auxillary lights and a couple of other things. After 4 years, they are weak on cold mornings. 4 years is acceptable. I've only been able to find one replacement. Even with one weak one it's spinning the diesel fine. It's also about $50 less than the Group 27. This will be my 3rd set on a 20 year old truck.

    Very disappointed!!!!
The battery the store tried to give me was not the same battery as indicated at Walmart.com. The battery on Walmart.com was a 109 AH battery, the store tried to give me an 80 AH battery. Very disappointed. We declined the batteries but the store still indicated that we picked them up and got charged for thebatteries.
