Very easy to use.
This was a gift for my mom and also was a small test for her. She isn't challenged technology wise but has a knack for only using things if they're super easy. I was on stand to help out if needed but gladly I had no work to do. Set up was easy . The remote control is our favorite as it has preset buttons for my kids, so when my mom gets the pleasure of babysitting them there is no problem finding their favorites at the touch of a button. The remote came with batteries , that was very thoughtful in adding to tje ease of use of the set right out of the box.

missing pieces (cables)
What it came with and what was in the box was different. It was lacking both the HDMI and USB cable it clearly states it should have came with.

    So Easy to Use
I am so excited to have a streaming stick now. I love that I can watch my shows on demand, and pick from such a big selection. It's so nice not to have to deal with cable anymore. I'm not great at technology, and this was even easy for me to use. It has different steaming options on the bottom of the remote, and the different buttons are easy to understand what they're used for. I like the color of it too; I think it makes it look stylish. It's awesome that it has HD resolution, and you can even ask Google to to control the options using voice commands. It came with everything needed to hook it up, and good instructions. Next I want to get one for my bedroom!

    Great so far
We've been using this for a few weeks now and have loved it. One of our TVs can no longer be updated so some of our apps on there no longer work. So we started using the PS for some of our streaming services. That worked just fine but it's been nice using the streaming stick instead. More direct and more options. We already subscribe to multiple streaming services so it was easy for us to just connect our accounts and start using it. It took a little getting used to because the navigation is a bit different than other devices but once we figured that all out it's been smooth sailing ever since.

    A new streaming contender
Absolutely amazing stick. First off, the performance is incredible, especially for older TV's or viewers that don't mind 2k resolution. I have a 4k TCL Roku TV, and yes, I can tell the resolution output of this stick is a little worse - but it is absolutely better in terms of navigation, remote layout, and available content. Not only do you have all of your typical streaming platforms, but what I love is I can finally watch Twitch streams on my TV (something Roku will never be able to again) without casting from my phone. Remote feels nice and matte with a grippy texture, and about the same size as my Roku remote. Upon first use, you will most likely have to perform a system update that takes about 10 minutes, so keep that in mind. The Google voice assist button is very receptive of your demands. Being able to have access to a google play store is so refreshing, there's just so many options to explore. You can play games if you have a blue-tooth controller as well. My only complaint is that sometimes the navigation can get a bit sluggish, but sometimes it has to do with apps auto-updating. I also love using this in my living room, which has an older Sony TV, and it looks better on there than on my newer TCL. Perhaps it has something to do with pixels. I highly recommend trying this stick. I'm just super impressed by this device.

    Easy to Set Up
This streaming stick has everything you need! You can access all of your favorite streaming apps with this small device! The stock plugs directly into the HDMI port on your tv and after a quick set up you are ready to go. The set up was very easy to understand and simple. The quality was great, I had great picture with no lagging or issues. This is perfect for our guest bedroom which does not have a cable box. Now our guests can easily watch Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV, and many more. The remote control it comes with is very easy to navigate and has direct buttons for certain apps. This is a great streaming stick, definitely recommend!

The Chromecast stick is a miracle. I've never owned one becayse I thought they would be hard to set up. Not this one, it was as simple as plug in n play. The technology now days is astounding. It almost did everything for you. I felt like a wizard and I didn't do much. If you looking for a tv stick this is the one to get.

    Plug and Play!
We cut the cable cord a few years ago and use streaming devices such as this on all of our TVs. We recently put a TV in our oldest son's room and used this onn. stick for him. He is 9 and was able to set this up all on his own. You literally just plug it in and you can start streaming by adding your favorite apps as tiles to the main screen. It also has quick access buttons for YouTube, Netflix, Disney and HBO. It's a great way to see all your favorites without cable. Easy to use and set up.

Inexpensive Streaming Stick with Great Potential!
I have owned and used a variety of smart “casting” devices over the years, including an Apple TV (2nd and 4th generation), Fire Stick, Roku device, and a Samsung Smart TV. And after receiving this Onn streaming stick, I was pleasantly surprised with how its user interface (UI) stacked up against the rest! At such an inexpensive price point, the Onn's ability to easily navigate between streaming services was second only to the $100+ Apple TV models, and I appreciated the ability to AirPlay from my iPhone and Android devices to this streaming stick. Likewise, the picture quality of this device is very clear (2K), and I love the voice capabilities of the remote. Unlike some other devices, this remote can also be used to control the power, volume, and input source of the TV itself, but this often means you cannot turn off the streaming stick without also turning off the TV. Likewise, the remote has buttons to navigate to commonly used streaming services (YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max) that speed up navigation in the UI. When setting up the device, however, I encountered some bugs in setting it up with my Google account, and I was required to input two separate Google accounts to complete the login. Once you enter the homepage of the streaming stick, though, some of the services (like Netflix) allow you to login using your phone's keyboard, which bypasses having to use the remote's clunky keyboard. All in all, this inexpensive streaming stick packs a lot of functionality, and its user interface can be easily navigated for quick HD streaming. Well done, Onn!

onn. Android TV FHD Streaming Stick
The set up for the onn. Android TV FHD Streaming Stick was easy. Did take a few tries after connecting to the internet for the updates to take. Setting up the guide was easy as well.  Adding the remote control is very similar to other remote controls. Rather intuitive with the designated buttons. However the smoothness of the remote makes it easy to slip from hands. I would have suggested adding some little dots to the edges for gripping. Quick connect buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Disney and HBO/Max are handy if you subscribe to the channels. As I began adding channels I was limited by the number that I could add. Looking at this ONN stick it has 4.4 GB for internal storage. You can give the onn stick its own name, choose screen resolution, audio, video outputs and Google searches can do a safe search filter, block offensive words.  There are so many layers to the functions of the remote and on screen display. Learning which buttons on the remote do in correlation to where you're at on the screen is going to take a few days for me to increase my learning curve. I have other steaming sticks from other manufacturers, but the onn stick is very different from them. I like how the guide works. The top-line are all your favorite channels. But on the left side you can spin through your favorite channels and see what programming they have to offer in a "what's next" type of format. I set my TV timer to limit the amount of programming it normally will shut off automatically. With the brand of TV I have, the ONN stick seems to override the timer. So it never turns off when it should. On the flip side, if I turn the TV off manually, for example to go to work then come home, turn the TV on, the programming on the channel I picked will still be running for whatever program is next. So the stick is always on and always running. This feature/function I don't like. The Onn Stick is streaming data that is not being viewed, this is waste in my opinion.  Kept getting the same video issue, regardless of which channel I was on, the picture fuzzy and then clear. I have other streaming devices and a streaming TV as well this does not happen on any of them. Perhaps the stick would lose a signal that's starting to buffer making the video blurry? What is in the box? 1 remote control (batteries included), 1 HDMI extender, 1 AC adapter, 1 USB to micro-USB cable 4.88ft (1.49 m), and 1 Quick Start Guide. I did like the extender that came with the package. It allows for connections that do not fit directly into the TV itself. Plus it helps the stick not to become heated. Don't have a 4k tv, no problem you can adjust the resolution via the stick options. Google offers so many free content applications as well as paid content options. The onn. Android TV FHD Streaming Stick is 100% worth the purchase. These days with inflation, the onn. Android TV FHD Streaming Stick is a smart buy! Not to mention under $30 at the time of this review.

    Impressed
I'm really glad I ordered this streaming stick. It has everything I was looking for. It has Full High-Definition resolution, built-in Chromecast, and Dolby Audio along with tons of apps and digital channels to choose from. Some favorites are Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime, Hulu, and HBOMax. All of these were easy to find on the home page. I found several other digital channels and shows that are worth downloading, too. In the box there is a quick start guide that was easy to follow. I chose to set it up with Google through my android phone. Easily done. There were some updates it ran through along with the remote control setup to connect to the T.V. for on/off and volume control. There is also a button to access Google assistant to launch apps or search for shows. I really like the color of this remote. It makes it easy to find among all the other remotes we have. My favorite thing though, is the built-in Chromecast. This is a feature we use in my family a TON. It worked great with all of our phones. Wish I had this streaming stick sooner.

    Great Entertainment device
We already have a firestick and a Roku, so having that knowledge helped me set this up. But if you never had either you may need to know the following; you need an internet connection with the password (most of the time this is on the bottom of your router), you need a TV (turned on with the volume on) with an HDMI spot available, and you need an electric outlet (you can optionally use the USB port on the tv if it has electric, one of my older flat screens doesn't have this but my newer ones do) and you need your login information for gmail and alternately any service such as Netflix. The package has a leaflet that shows you a diagram of how to hook it up. Basically, the batteries go in the white remote(came with batteries). I like that the remote is not black like all my other devices, so it stands out and is clear which thing its for. Then I plugged the HDMI cable into the unit, the USB plug into the unit then put it into the electric pronged part. Then I went to the TV found the HDMI port and plugged it in. Next, I plugged in the electric outlet (optionally plug into the USB here). After plugging it in It asks you on the tv (oh especially important make sure you have the right source selected for that HDMI jack, some remotes say input and others say source – once you have the right one it will have geometric shapes on the screen). Then I had to press two buttons on the remote to synchronize the remote to the unit. After that it asks if you have an android device. I do not so I bypassed these instructions, it tells you that you can use the android device to set it up quickly. I hit the option to bypass. After adding the wifi password it started an update to the newest version which took about 8 minutes. Then an onn screen came up and installing system update came up after. My unit went back to the onn screen then geometric shapes, all the while it loaded the software. Now it says connecting. It asks me to add my google account (I assume this is the only way to use it, and the gmail accounts are free so its easy to create one and use it). So basically I went through and pressed each service I subscribe to already and activated as each one explains how to do. I subscribe to Netflix and YoutubeTV I was kind of shocked to see I had to manually add the app for YoutubeTV to the list of apps. It wasn't hard to do. So any time you get in something and don't know how to get out hit the home button and it will take you back to the menu. I wish the remote had more notations on it, I spent quite some time trying to figure out how to pause and FF, but otherwise this is nice and any UNSMART TV with HDMI will become an Entertainment spot. I like the screensaver too, much better than my Roku. May require subscriptions to use services to utilize content, like Netfix, Prime, etc. But there are plenty of free options, my favorite it Tubi.

Nice streamer. Some choices not available
This a nice streamer that is very speedy when finally set up. Moving through menus and apps is seamless. However getting it set up initially took me four tries as the connection kept dropping (no wifi issues with my network). One reason I took a star off the review. The other star was taken off because there are some needed apps missing from the Play Store - that may be a Google issue but still hampers usage. No browsers available. The major deal breaker for me is no streaming app for Comcast. It's in roku, fire stick, my phone and tablets, but not on this device. So if you want to stream Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc, this is great. But it won't replace a set-top box unless you have a subscription to YouTube TV or similar. If you want to stream your cable without paying for an extra box, this won't do it. I'd recommend Roku or Fire TV over this.
