Pleased with this tablet
I got this tablet on a whim for my kids and am quite happy with it. It seems to be childproof, there's a solid protective cover which I am very satisfied with.. as a 2 day old tablet they've already dropped it. It was easy to setup as well. Overall, I'm pleased.

Good paperweights
I bought 2 for my kids for Christmas, both defective and boot up with some random Chinese writing. My wife exchanged them (after the Walmart employees initially refused and argued with my her about it). With the two we received, one boots up with the same Chinese writing (you can't even power it off or do anything). The other goes through the Google account setup process and then just goes to "Oops, something went wrong" over and over again (it isn't an issue with the Google account, it works fine on other devices). Will be returning the replacements tomorrow. Look at all of the other 4 and 5 star reviews, they're all sponsored.

    Great kids tablet
    This is a great kids tablet. Everything you need to get this in your kids hands is included in the box. The table, case and charger are all in there waiting on you to turn the table on. It was easy to get up And running. So far no issues.

    My 11 year old loves this tablet. He said the quality is good and loves the case and it has a kickstand too! He likes the kid zone. I love it too. Its all the good stuff of an android phone, but i get to control it. He can request to download certain apps, or use sites, and i can approve or deny. It pops up with a notification on my phone from the app. I can also see how long hes been on it, set up and down times and even place a time limit. I control all of that stuff. Even lock it from my phone! I can also email him him on the tablet if i need to. It really is great, and would work for any kid. Worth it!

    Great, easy tablet
    onn. 8 Kids Tablet, Blue, 32GB Storage, 2GB RAM, Android is easy to setup to be used by kids or adults. This tablet that comes with its own case, that features a kickstand, is protected from drops and will sit-up on its own. The screen is nice and clear, and it works as well as some competitors versions of tablets. You can easily personalize it, and also link it to your other electronic devices to keep track of activity. It does require WiFi upon setup, but then afterwards your child can safely use it on their own (if parental controls are setup) to play games or watch programming. There's also a camera and microphone for communication- so if you're an adult and purchase this, it will work perfectly for video chats. In reality, this is perfect for anyone because it's easy to use, has plenty of storage, and has some great features.

    Parental Control Options are GREAT!
    I can't say enough good things about this tablet. Although it was a bit time consuming, setup was easy. I loved all of the parental control options available and the ability to feel fully comfortable letting my five year old daughter use this tablet without worry or concern about her being exposed to anything inappropriate for her age. The Google Kids Space is so much fun and has so many great free options for fun or for educational purposes. We also loved the little case the tablet came in and the stand on the back, so cute and functional too! We purchased shatter-proof screen protectors for the screen and will only be letting her use the tablet when she's sitting down to prevent the tablet being dropped.

    Beware of warranty
    Tablet itself is great…until your kid breaks the screen and the included 2 year warranty doesn’t cover it. I contacted onn. And they assured me that I would receive a email with instructions within 5-10 days which I thought was odd. 2 weeks later still no email. I call a few day later and explain, the device still works but the glass is broken, even with that it’ll cost $50 to replace the screen shipping. For all of that I might as well go buy another one to avoid the hassle. AMAZON WOULD NEVER!

    More than I expected!
    This tablet has been so much more wonderful than I expected!! I love that it comes with a silicone case that has plenty of cushion. There is a stand on the back that rotates completely around and allows the tablet to prop up in landscape and portrait mode. The kids mode took a little leaning to get used to, especially when my son wanted to download new games. I don't like the sidebar that I can't disable that give show, movie, and book suggestions when it's in regular mode. The material suggested is always risque or otherwise inappropriate for kids, so I HAVE to keep it in kids mode for that reason. It can be disabled on other brand tablets, but not Onn. He's dropped it a couple of times and it's been fine! It took about 20 minutes to set up initially, and I got frustrated several times trying to figure out the limitations of kid mode. I'm pretty good with technology and this part of things wasn't fun. The battery power is phenomenal! It also comes with a usbc charger AND adapter!

    Too slow & glitchy when switching between programs
    This kids’ tablet is really slow, even without much loaded onto it. For everyday use, it really doesn’t work for my taste. I get a lot of error messages when trying to go from one program to another. Once in the program, it works pretty well, so it mostly seems to be the switching that causes issues. I may end up using this primarily for kids’ movies on car trips and maybe to pull up recipes while cooking. Beyond that, it is too frustrating to use. I do like that it comes with a case and has a stand that easily pulls in and out.

    Great for Everyone
    We were not sure what we were going to do with our tablet at first, my kids are older, but we love technology. It arrived in a sturdy box and we could not wait to try it out. We were super impressed with the included case as we would not have to buy one for ourselves. My adult daughter lives with us, and she got a new job helping at our church's tiny private school. They needed someone to help with study hall and tutoring struggling readers. So we configured the tablet for her to use and loaded it up with reading games and some that I had purchased for my kids. The tablet really has been a hit at the school. The kids love using it, and it is not slow and boggy like so many kids tablets. This one can keep up! We recommend this tablet. It was super easy to set up.

    Love this tablet!
    This is the perfect tablet for kids because the content is customized for the kids ages and interests. On the home screen of the tablet, there are different tabs for videos, games, and books. The tablet comes with a durable case to protect it. On the back of the case is a stand to have the case upright. My favorite feature of the tablet is the parental controls. I’m able to set up downtime, approve apps, and set how many hours of screen time per day is allowed. The tablets battery lasts a long time. It will last days before I need to charge it again.
