Great Comfy Bed
I have recently moved from the USA to Canada and was looking for a good comfortable mattress when a friend suggested Zinus mattresses. I suffer from lower back pain & my partner is a light sleeper, likes to move a lot in bed. I selected this medium firm mattress with motion isolation, It came in compact hassle free packaging, easy to remove & expanded to its size in less than 2 minutes. Mattress was not at all smelly as mentioned in a few other comments, infact I used it immediately. I was pleasantly surprised as this was exactly what I was looking for. Got a Good Night's sleep and No back pain issues in the morning. This Zinus purchase from Walmart is no brainer cuz they delivered right to my doorstop! I'm saving at least $500+ on this purchase, which makes my dreams even sweeter on this mattress. We both Love it & would recommend it to all our friends and you too!

Product mat be good but packaging was not acceptab
I never opened as it was already open and given the covid I am not interested in keeping. It is too heavy for me to return to a post office or fed. Needs to be picked up!

    My son LOVES his new mattress. He sleeps so much better now. Soft but firm. The support is excellent and the memory foam makes it soft. Will be purchasing another for his sister when she outgrows her toddler bed.

    Super Comfy Mattress with a great price !
    I have bought a Zinus 12 inches comfort support pocket spring mattress to replace with my 10 years old sleep country mattress. I am very impressed with the new zinus mattress. First the delivery come very fast, it was supposed to be arrived after x'mas but it came only after 3 days on the Dec 21 When we received the mattress it was packed very conveniently in a box and it is compress with vacuum i couldn't believed it was queen size that I have to double check the box as it was so small. we could even fit 2 queen mattress in a VW Passat ! From opening the box to sleeping on it only take less then 5 mins the packaging was so nicely done we literally do not have to do anything but roll the mattress onto the bed that it. The mattress also feel very cool when you sleep on it and does not have that wired plastic smell for most of the memory foam mattress. I have been sleeping on the mattress for a few days now and it is firm but comfy at the same time giving us the comfort and strong support. Overall it is a great buy with the price that we paid , fast delivery quick setup and definitely will recommend this to our friends !

    Poor delivery process, not 13 inches
    Poor delivery process, it is supposed to come in a box but instead the mattress came out of its box and already armed. The specification says its width is 13 inches but I found it is in fact 10.

    A Comfortable Night's Sleep ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    The Slumber 1 by Zinus is a very comfortable mattress. It comes to you rolled up in a box, wrapped in plastic under extreme pressure. After unpacking the mattress and releasing it from the packaging, you can hear the air pressure being released as the mattress expands itself into shape before your eyes. It has a very nice visual appearance, is super soft, yet holds its shape quite well. It envelops you instantly and doesn't allow any disturbing pressure point to bother you during sleep. You can easily toss and turn without any mattress movement and enjoy a good night's sleep. I highly recommend this mattress. A+

    very nice
    so to start I like having an extra bed in house incase a certain person is snoring I can go to the spare room and sleep, so I got this mattress and was very happy, slept very well after the 48 hours was up, i opened the box and there was a very nice little envelope with a few things inside I began to read the instructions are so funny and I laughed while reading once I finished I followed the directions and opened the box and got the bed out i then removed very carefully form the packaging. the bed was well packed i couldn't believe that it was like 56lbs and yet so small then once it started getting opened and getting air it bagan to grow I was very pleased with the size after 48 hours. I then slept on the new bed for 4 full nights before posting this review to make sure i slept good every night. I would recommend this mattress, I have been sleeping just fine. I kinda worried because I have gotten a bed in a box before and it was never comfortable, so im very happy with this one its not to soft and not to hard.

    This mattress was better than what I was excepting. It fit perfectly on the bed. It has an extra layer of padding on the top which made it really comfortable. It is a firm mattress but still soft at the same time. You can move around without the whole bed moving. Made with very good materials. I cant believe how great I have been sleeping. This mattress is exactly what I needed.

    I feel like mattress reviews really need to be done over the lifespan of the mattress, so bear in mind as you read this that this is what I think about the mattress in the first month of ownership. When it was delivered, I was surprised at how small the box was. see picture below. They delivered it similar to how Casper does- vacuum sealed to conserve on space. It's remarkable that there is technology to do this and simplify the fulfillment process for mattresses. This is a far cry from how I bought my first mattress over a decade ago- they had to have a small moving truck with a few guys carry it in. This is much better. Once I took the mattress out of the box, i removed the outer layer of the plastic, which revealed the mattress under it which was vacuum sealed in another plastic bag. The instructions indicate to be very careful when removing the outer layer of plastic, which is what holds the sealed mattress in a roll. If done with care, the mattress may spring open and either knock something over, or hit you. Be sure to unravel the outer layer carefully and safely in your home. After that, cut open the sealed plastic bag. Air will rush in, so the faster you cut open the bag and remove it, the faster the mattress will spring to its full form. It's cool to see. After a few moments, the mattress will fill to its full shape and size. It still takes up to 72 hours (per the instructions) to fill completely, but you can lay on the bed just to feel it. Overall, this mattress is a great value. It's affordable, and seems to be well built. There's no way to truly know this until years later to understand how it stands the test of time, but as far as I can tell, it feels well built. The mattress is specified as firm, but keep in mind that it also comes with an integrated topper, which I personally am NOT a fan of. This of course, all boils down to personal preference, and I prefer firmer beds. I have never liked toppers because they negate the firmness, and in this case, it's worse because I cant remove it- it's sewn on and completely integrated. When I lay on the mattress, it feels fine but softer than I like- I would prefer no topper and more firmness. Of course, if you like toppers, then you'll probably love this mattress. It is comfortable enough to sleep on. The mattress is 12 inches thick- 8 inches of spring supported mattress, and 4 inches (so it appears from the externals) of topper. I was hoping I could turn the mattress over and sleep on the bottom side, but the springs are slightly exposed, and while it is firmer, it is also quite uncomfortable due to the springs. I am putting this mattress in the guest bedroom, so it's not my primary mattress, and will not be a problem for me. My guess is that most people like toppers, which is why products like this exist, so it should be perfectly fine for my guests.

    I thought the last zinus mattress was comfortable but this one is on another level of comfort. It reminds me of my pillow top that we have. The mattress is so comfortable I catch both of my kids trying to sleep on it. I would definitely recommend this brand. They are comfortable and affordable.
