Don't purchase.
Used three times since purchased and no longer reels. Very cheaply made. Of course, it was only 10 bucks, but still.

    good for kids
    i try to just buy stuff made in America, but it's hard to find sometimes. these are made in china ,but pretty good rod and reel combos, needed some for the grandkids when they come out and want to fish. so far they have worked great and haven't had any problems with them, bought 4 at first to try out.

    BEST FISHING ROD!! This fishing rod is the best thing ever, there's a button to launch the hook out and a quick reel in. It's so easy to put together and to hook up. It's small and easy to store. I bought 2 because of how convenient it is

    $10 Rod %26 Reel to Avoid
    I Only Recieved 1/2 of the rod %26 reel which arrived in a plastic bag without any instructions. After Reading more Reviews, it seems there are many reports of missing/broken parts, %26 numerous Reel issues. I have opted to return for a refund. I am Very Disapointed with this purchase %26 lack of quaility control.

    The Walmart driver saved the day
    I'm only giving it a 5 because my delivery guy Anthony was awesome. I ordered 3 fishing rods 1 blue and 2 red well on the delivery day I only received the blue one i had to call customer service to see what happened to the red ones. I was told i could wait until they eventually got delivered or I could cancel them and place another order, so I chose to cancel and reorder well when Anthony delivered he only had 1 red one and it was broken so he called whoever he needed to call but they told him that I had to do the same thing that I already did that morning with canceling and reordering so Anthony called someone at the store he works out of to see if they had anymore and they didn't have any red ones but they did have the blue ones so I just chose the blue ones and he went back to the store and brought them back to me. He was very helpful and nice.

    Very cheaply made but only $10. I bought three and 2 did not work. I took one apart to try and fix it. Was not worth fixing but was not fixable. I would be surprised if a working one would last 3 fishing trips if you actually caught fish with it. Keep rod and throw the reel away. You have a $10 rod!
