You don't know what you're missing!
This machine is incredible! I am amazed at how closely the consistency of a soft serve banana rivals that of actual soft serve ice cream! My wife and kids ask for it. My wife likes it BETTER than ice cream. I like to throw in some peanut butter powder or frozen strawberries to mix it up. But the possibilities are endless. I was a little hesitant to purchase, but I'm so glad I did.

Product Defect
When I bought this as a housewarming gift, the people who opened it found the plunger deformed, as though the plastic hadn't molded properly. I emailed Yonanas to get it replaced under warranty and it took months of back and forth messages. Today they finally said they do cover it under warranty but I have to spend $10 in shipping and it's out of stock. Outrageous I have to spend money to get a defective part replaced. If I had damaged the machine, I understand paying for shipping. But not when it was their fault.

    Love it!
    We love this machine at our house. My toddler asks for her “ice cream” for breakfast. It's only frozen fruit but she is just as happy with this as regular sugar loaded icecream

    Great for no sugar treats!
    Got one for my dad and one for my grandson. They loved them so much I'm about to order one for myself. My daughter doesn't let my grandson have candy or many things with sugar so I knew this would be perfect because she lets him have fruit. My dad doesn't have diabetes but like everyone we could all do without sugar in ice cream.

    Great treat! It does come out a bit like ice cream. Can't say it's soft serve but it's close enough. It's easy enough to clean once you understand how to put it together. It's definitely a good choice for those of us on plant based diets.

    I am BANANAS for this Yonana machine!!!
    My brother bought this for me for Christmas. I had actually never heard of this until he gave it to me. He got it to help me get more potassium in my diet. This thing is amazing and SUPER easy to use. I am guessing the people that aren't happy either aren't using enough fruit or haven't read the directions. I had to thaw my fruit longer. It works perfectly and super easy cleanup. I plan on trying Greek yogurt (frozen in ice cube trays) and fruit. If it's not sweet enough sprinkle some Splenda or stevia on the frozen fruit and run it through. I want to try some other recipes. I just made 2.5 lbs of fruit sorbet. I highly recommend this machine. Hopefully I can get my extremely picky 3 year old to try it....

    The machine is fine, it's a mouth problem.
    I waited years to finally purchase this machine. The machine works perfectly fine, it's my mouth that has the problem. It's been years since I ate Jared baby bananas. So, when the first spoonful hit my mouth it sent me spiraling back years! I've tried to reduce the amount of frozen bananas and increase the other fruit to balance the... excuse me, mushy mouth texture. I'll continue to experiment with this just because I really want it to give me the desired results. I gave it a three-star rating only to alert future purchasers who might have the same crazy mouth as me.

    this was advertized as a frozen yogurt maker which it is not. It is mostly for half frozen bananas. The blades are small and lightweight; not effective. The fruit has to be frozen just right or it is too hard to be ground and machine freezes or if it's too soft the result is a melted mess. Returned it promptly.

    It came quickly and it's fantastic. We don't eat bananas but using other frozen fruit was quick and easy. You need to make a few servings for it to come out and then disassemble to get the rest but it's easy to do and super easy to clean and put back together.

    Fun, delicious, healthy
    I've had fun making treats with my kids. We are still experimenting and every fruit mixture we've tried has worked well. I LOVE my Yonanas! I'm on a weight loss journey, and always feed my kids whole, unprocessed foods, so this treat maker is great for us. No sugar, but the ripe bananas make it very sweet. We like adding cocoa powder to make chocolate flavors. It is delicious, and there still is no added sugar! I'm not a gadgety person, but I'm so glad I bought this machine. Much faster and easier than a blender for making "ice cream." The cost was more than I usually spend, at $50, but is has already been worth it for what we've been able to do with it. The only downside is it is loud when running, but I understand that is necessary to its operation, like any other blender or food processor.
