Disappointed
Very disappointed the furniture came broken and I would like for you guy to give me a discount because I'm not going to returner to wait 1 week for the furniture again

It took a lot longer to put together than expected, but I had some distractions too. I had put a couple of pieces on backwards or upside down. I figured out one issue on my own but had to contact CS at Ameriwood. They were super helpful and helped me figure out that my door wasn't too short, the piece above the door was upside down and that's why there was a 1" gap from the door to the bottom part of the shelf. It took 5 minutes or less to fix the issue. The stand is really nice. The fireplace part works well. I watched a video on youtube to get a better idea of how to work it though. Still not sure how to keep constant heat going. I set it at 68 degrees and I think it cuts on when the room temperature goes below 68 degrees then back off after just a few minutes or so. Overall happy with the purchase and Ameriwood CS. The stand is a little lighter than what the picture shows. I absolutely love the color!Christina

Reading as many reviews as possible. For the price range I believe this to be a great unit. The assembly went smoothly with two people. I'm sure 1 person could have done it but will struggle a bit and take longer. Instruction booklet was easily followed with parts clearly marked. The fireplace does give off a slight odor for the first few minutes but quickly goes away. It's like turning on your heat for the first time each winter. the fireplace has 4 settings for flame brightness hi, med, lo and embers. The temperature sets from 64°F-82°F. I am so very satisfied with this product. Surprisingly my husband actually is impressed with it also. I would recommend this to others. Also I have a 50" TV on it.Suzanne

This was missing a cam bolt and the inside of the door is cracked. I request replacement parts. I wait 10 days and go to chat, ask where my parts are. They are no longer available they say. Why couldn't they email me that 10 days ago instead of leaving me waiting? Now I have to come up with some way to replace a cam bolt and glue the door so it doesn't break more. I cannot return it because I no longer have the big box, it weights alot and has a bunch of small parts. Ameriwood.... absolute horrible customer service and products. Never again will they get my business.Wilma

Problems with no instructions and the instructions online didnt match parts. Heater insert was damaged, I have a concern about the bent metal towards bottom of insert and sides especially since it is a space heater. I also have several parts of the veneer that are rubbing off and a door which is misaligned sue to improper manufacturing. For the price the piece should be better inspected. I am waiting for contact from manufacturer.Phyllis

The top part came cracked and I thought maybe I could hide it in the back but it could only go one way. So of course it's right in the front... Overall disappointed. It was pretty easy to put together though. Idk why people said it was difficult. If you've put Walmart furniture together successfully before this is no different. Took my husband and I about an hour and a half total. It looks great but it's pretty small and the again the top came cracked.GnieMarie

It did take us approximately 4 hours to put together. He started using a power drill, however realizing the screws weren't in the best spots for it switched to a screwdriver. Very sturdy stand.
