I think this jacket would suffice in our Florida winter weather but I used to live in New York and this definitely would not be a good winter jacket. yes it is very soft to the touch but on the same side I could see when cutting through it.

    Not a good fabric for my growing daughter,it does t stretch at all,its soft but it runs very small.definitly size up.I got an 18 and its more like a 14

    My daughter loves this jacket. It's soft and we were able to find a size a bit bigger than she needs so it'll fit her in Spring--since she's growing up so fast.

    My daughter loves this jacket we bought it to transition from fall into early winter. Her favorite part is the colors and that it is soft and fluffy. The jacket fits her true to size and has some give, but not super stretchy.
