Not a Zero Sum Game But an All in Game!!
Looks like a beautiful and engaging game. I am saving this for a Thanksgiving after dinner event so I cant really give you a review.

Annoying
Two things. The first major one is that we received two sets of yellow, and no green in this game. There are supposed to be 5 different colors of 8 (So that you can play this game with with 5 players). We received red, purple, blue, and then yellow twice (16 pieces of yellow). We didn't need all 5 for our purposes on the first night, so it was okay, but now we need to find a work-around for a 5th player. Everything else in the game was good, and the quality of the rest of the pieces/cards are great. The other thing is this was delivered a day later than expected. Normally, this is fine, but I shipped it to my sister for a game night we were going to have, and it wasn't delivered for said game night (Which was the stated delivery date). It did come the next day in the early am, but it was too late to use for the previous night.

    Excellent game!
    Wingspan is such a fun game! It is very friendly and a great strategy game that let's you learn about a lot of beautiful birds! I highly recommend the expansion packs as well.

    Hard to start - fun once you got it
    Buying was easy and one of the only places we could find WIngspan- the game takes a few times to love it- But keep playing and you will enjoy.

    Great family game.
    Great game! Takes a few times to learn but easy once you get the hang of it. I recommend watching a couple YouTube videos to help.

    Love Wingspan!
    We love this game! Ads declare this is for age 10 and up, but when the box arrived it was for ages 14 so I was a little disappointed. However, our 8 year old is playing the game and loving it. In fact, shes already won one. The instructions are a little intimidating, but the game comes with a first-time player set of cards that teaches the game with step-by-step move instructions for four rounds. What a game changer for first time players! By the fourth round we were playing on our own. Smart move on the game makers part! There are also YouTube videos on the game site that demonstrate. Once you know how to play, this game is amazing. It keeps our 8 year old engaged enough to play to completion. No requests to quit the game early and that is huge!

    Beautiful Game and Educational
    I find that I'm drawn to board games that are visually well done, educational, and have lots of components. This game is all of that. The objective is attract birds to your aviary. Each card contains info about the bird's habitat, nest type, etc. The game play is enjoyable, but there can be a learning curve if the rules aren't explained thoroughly. Lots to remember, but not necessarily a hard game to learn.

    Great game
    This has quickly become one of our favorite board games. The instructions look daunting,my advice is ignore them and watch the Utube video by Game night season 7 episode 11. They play an entire game,but you understand it after about 2 rounds. The artwork is great and you learn a lot about birds. My husband had his doubts about the game as he is a big strategy gamer,but it's one of his favorites now. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys board games.

    Beautiful and fun game, complex at first
    Very fun game and bird cards, some 180 unique species, add an extra layer of interest to the action. Requires some setup first time, alot of pieces need to be punched out. Seems quite complex at first but the game includes a beginner tutorial, a prescribed round of play to help players understand the action sequence and decision making involved. Our first full game starting with the tutorial and then a 4-round game took nearly 3 hours -- of pure enjoyment. Once we got past round 2 everyone (me, wife, 15yr and 13yr old players) had the hang of it and play sped up alot. Box says a 4round game should go for about 70 minutes,just don't count on that for your first time. A hard to find game and Walmart had it!! Thrilled with the purchase and the game.
