Great ball at a great price!
My 10 year old daughter wanted to start learning how to play volleyball so I wanted to find a ball that had a soft feel to it. This one is great and for the price, you can't beat it! Of course her arms still hurt some when we were done, but that's because she's never played and hasn't had the ball hitting on her arms before. The more often she plays, the less they'll hurt as she gets used to that. I'd recommend this ball to a friend.

    Nice bright volleyball
    It is a very nice volleyball. I actually bought it for my dog, a Collie, who is very hard on toys. This was no exception. He had it for about two hours, and got pieces off of it. I had to throw it away. This is no fault on the volleyball, and I am sure it would be great for human children. It is a very vibrant yellow, and looks very professional.

    SoftPlay is NOT a soft Volley Ball
    We expected the Wilson SoftPlay Volley Ball to be a softer ball, however it was not soft at all. It was very hard, too hard for my 7-year old. Very disappointed!! We invested in a Tachikara® Volley-Lite® Volleyball for $35 and it was perfect.

    HARD PLAY
    This ball HURTS! I bought it for fun and because it says "Soft play" I assumed it wouldn't tear my wrists up but it literally left my arms red after a few hits back and forth. Not soft at all and not good for beginners, kids, etc!

    Not for serious ball play.
    This is NOT an outdoor ball!! We bought this ball and played with it for about an hour in our driveway. just popping it back and forth. No real play. The stitching is already coming undone and the next day the ball was a bit dis-inflated. fyi when we received the ball it was already a bit dis-inflated but we thought that's how they ship it, so we added air to it. IDK if it was defective or if our playing with it is was damaged it. Regardless, we have to add air each time we want to play with it.

    SUPER HARD
    I bought this volleyball about a year ago it is so difficult I own multiple volleyballs and this is my least favorite not only that but the outside foam is so weak and is falling apart I recommend a molten ball instead however it is okay at setting

    What happened to the product?
    Second time I bought this ball. First time was 1 year ago and under the outer layer seemed to be foam. That ball was nice and soft. Bought 3 weeks ago, this ball is flawed for sure. Everywhere there is a seem the outer shell has cracked and come away from the stitches area. We have always brought the ball in, never left out in the weather or sun, yet it has spontaneously split and cracked the outer shell all over. Now it's like playing with knives. Poor quality
