Great AC
Really love my unit, I'm using it in my bedroom. It takes less then 10 minutes to cool the whole room! Only thing I would change is the temperature showing all the time, once you turn it on the display goes off. I would like to see the Temperature of the room all the time.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/15/2022My Whynter ARC-14S Works excellentAt first I was little skeptical when I first got it going, because it didn't right away cool off my room, but I do have vaulted ceilings and it gets pretty hot up here in the San Diego Mountain Cleveland National Forest area, but after a couple hours, it cools down my room pretty well, and not that dry air cold, that sucks the moisturity of your body, but a nice comfortable coolness that I love, which my wife noticed as well.BigCountry

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/06/2021Awesome unitThis brand works as advertisedā¦ I live in Arizona and purchased a unit and put it in the living room of a mobile home. It gets very hot here but this unit has the ability to cool a 500 square-foot area to the mid 70s and 80 when we hit 115 or aboveā¦(it's a dry heat) tried to purchase a second unit but everyone was sold out this summer. Will definitely purchase two more units and save between 7000 and $10,000 instead of a heat pump. This product is the real deal. Highly recommended For extreme heat areasOutlaw

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/05/2021TarsThis was taller than I thought but then again, I didn't really look at the measurements. It was due to arrive on the 12th but arrived on the fifth of July. Easy to set up. Box is very heavy so two people for that but one person could do the rest. Easy to understand how to function the cooling, de humidifying, or just fan. The hardest part was screwing on the ends to the hoses. I kept going one direction but then realized I needed to go the other way!!! The silly things you do when you are hot. I am so thankful to have this as 90 and 100s continue to be in our forecast here in eastern Washington. I read in the manual that there is an optional part that can be ordered separately for the intake hose to filter outside air, which might be good for wildfire season (which has already begun) but then again, I might just not hook up that hose and it can just intake from the air already in the house.Laura

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/28/2018great for high ceilingsJune was hottest June in New Mexico since 60s we were told. We have 18 foot ceilings in our living room -- the AC was easy to install and we use it almost every day. We may buy a smaller one for the bedrooms but for now it cools us and is quik about doing so if we've had it off for awhile.Momme

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/25/2018Excellent Performance!Bought this about two months ago in the highest heat of the North Carolina summer. It cools our 400 sq. ft room with no problem. The vent points upward, so we turn on our ceiling fan (mid-level speed) and it spreads the cool air right over our seating area below. Even if we turned on the AC at the end of a hot day (when the heat index had hit 105 degrees), it would quickly lower the temp in the room to a tolerable level. Can't wait to use the heater feature this winter.Coolchaser

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/25/2018Great ACBought the ARC-14S about 2 months ago after extensive research and review reading. We wanted/needed something for our oversized 3 car garage and have been extremely pleased with this unit. We took the advice mentioned in several of the reviews, wrap/insulate the exhaust hose, made our own window outlet out of 3/4 inch plywood, separated the input and exhaust hoses further and insulated the wood/window where the hoses are. Works great and keeps our huge garage very comfortable. We like the features it has and we've never had an issue with the drainage. We have it set at 79 and it's made just a minor increase in our electric bill.Gogreen

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/27/2017So far so good! This unit has been able to cool our large master suite quickly and very well. It was easy to install and we haven't run into issues yet. The only concern I will mention is that it is not very quiet but it's on par with most window units I have used.
