Grill above the rest!
This model is perfect for my wife and I. We also grilled for up to 6 people with plenty of room for meat and veggies. Easy to put together. Looks great and cooks food evenly. One of the best grills I've ever owned. Can not go wrong with purchasing this grill.

Cheaply made, poor quality
Disappointed is an understatement. I had a Weber for many years prior to buying this new one. The metal for the shelving on the sides is ultra-thin and unstable. You have to lift the end of one shelf up to move the grill on its Wheels. The Shelf bent it came off the hinges just moving the grill around because of the ultra thin cheap metal. See photo of collapsed shelf, could not hold the weight of a dish full of corn on the cob. Also, using the shelf to lift and move the grill on its wheels damaged the thin shelf, bending it off the hinges. Very poor quality.

    Spirit ll Grill Assembly and Use
    Grill was assembled by myself with a few challenges. Instructional video in the Weber app was helpful in addition to Assembly pamphlet. Enjoying using the Spirit ll grill.

    Nice grill, flimsier than older models
    Purchased this around July 4th, 2019. It's currently mid August. The grill's dials and igniter work well (although I can foresee the rubber around the igniter disintegrating over time). The grill's wheels are attached with pins and plastic covers (one of which continuously falls off on the back wheel). The grilling grate seems sturdy but that is the only part of the grill that feels that way. The is no good way to move the grill despite the wheels and a previous responded recommendation by Weber to "recommend standing on the left side of the grill with the table in the up position and fully engaged. Then, lift the table straight up with both hands and you can move the grill like a wheelbarrow." The table is quite flimsy and flexes when I do this (quite alarming) and doesn't always catch well in the "fully engaged position"- the result is the table disengages and the grill falls back to the ground. To much of this over time will make the table unusable/unreliable. I checked out the larger, more expensive Weber's at the store this week. While some of them appear a little sturdier, they are not durable/solid like our older Weber grills. We have had many Weber grills in our 50 some years; 2 sizes of charcoal kettle (have never needed replacing - we take very good care of our stuff), a pellet smoker, and gas grills (we grill several time weekly throughout the year, this is our 3rd Weber gas grill). With the kids grown we chose a smaller gas grill as we never use the gas grill for entertaining, just for ourselves - meat and lots of vegetables. I am very disappointed, will look closer at our future purchases, investigating other brands

    Graduation Present
    I have wanted this grill for 3 years. I sometimes would go to Home Depot just to look at at but I couldn't afford it. But my mother in law surprised me with a Home Depot gift card as a graduation and there was no hesitation what I wanted to get. Funny thing is that my daughter wanted to put it together so we went from store to store until we could find one still in the box. She is 8 years old but she did it in 3hrs. Armed with my new grill and my little engineer we set out to conquer what was left of the summer and grill away our fears and concerns and just enjoy food the way it was meant to be. This grill did not disappoint! I absolutely love it!

    Well designed and well built
    From the moment I started assembling this grill I could tell the design and build quality were superior to the cheaper grills I'd previously had. Assembly was easy, the instructions are well written, and the parts all fit together perfectly. Firing it up, I've been impressed with how efficient the burners are. It's been warming up in about 5 minutes, when my previous grill needed 10. The vaporizer bars do a very good job of minimizing flare-ups. The heat adjustment for the burners works well when I don't want high heat, and it works well for both direct and indirect cooking. I also like that the warming rack just drops in and can easily be removed for larger cuts of meat.

    A quality, versatile grill!
    I have had this grill almost two months and I love it. It's easy to use, heats up rapidly and is wonderful to use. I have made everything from a Spanish Paella, to the American standards, steak, burgers, chicken, brats, you name it. Best grill I've owned!

    Easy to use
    Lighting and maintenance is easy. I love the website recipes and instructions. I've made the beer can chicken, cedar plank salmon, BBQ Boston butt, grilled vegetables, and the Cajun seafood! This was my Mother's Day present - I think the family knew what they were doing;)

    Great grill, easy to use.
    Have used this grill about half a dozen times now and love it. It's super easy to use and clean, and the wheels are the perfect size for wheeling it away from the house over rough terrain. The folding side shelf is a little wonky at first, but fine once you're used to it. Love this grill!
