one of my two top choices.
As always a good drive with a good warranty and rarely ever need to use the warranty, one of my two top choices in and around this size.

Dead
Came completely dead. Tried it with 3 computers, different SATA cables, nothing worked. Sent it back and bought Seagate instead. Disappointing.

Make sure that you order corectly.
The new external hard drive us working fine. I had a oroblem where i searched fir an external drive but there was an internal drive shown in the search engine. I was able to easily return the internal drive but tbe hassle was annoying.

Good unit, good price, so far so good
Unit arrived on time, and was cloned (from an aging Seagate drive). Other than a perceived slowness in defrag (via IOBIT SmartDefrag) the unit is meeting my needs (in an older HP desktop)

    It is a Hard Drive
I have had Western Digital hard drives for a long time and these are my go to for a large and affordable file storage drive. These are also great for barebones RAID 1 or 10 solutions for an affordable price point but I do not recommend these for 24/7 use in a NAS. The one thing I hope to see with Western Digital consumer hard drives in the future is the adoption of the NVMe 2.0 specification which helps to decrease the inefficiencies between different types of storage devices. Other than that, these hard drives are great for the price point.

So far so good (four months).
These have a reputation for a high failure rate, I haven't had either of my two die in four months. They may still fail at some point (always have a backup, you don't know you need it until it's too late), but so far so good; nothing exceptional but it is CMR (on the WD10EZEX).

Have purchased this HD in the past and so far haven't had any problems. This HD arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Will purchase from this seller again.

    Amazing Product!
I ordered this product and I received it very quickly I am terrible with electronics and was so easy to install. Works perfectly I've been using it for 2 months and have had no issues whatsoever. Definitely work the purchase.

    Dead on Arrival
Installed the Hard Drive straight out of the box into a HP Pavillion desktop, the BIOS SMART test picked up an “Imminent Failure, backup recommended”. Proceeded anyway to install Windows, it tells me that Windows cannot be installed on the drive due to the poor condition. I don't see anything in the product description that says used or refurbished. How can a brand new hard drive fail immediately?!?! I'm furious.

Blue is Good Only Comes in I TB size.
It supports a faster transfer rate than my computer has, this is not bad, just my system. Be sure to remember that after about 6-8 years all hard drives die. Mine died this year at the age of 8. We only purchased refurbished desktop or town computers, so when we get one, we know that it is about 3-4 years old and that a replacement drive will be needed it we keep it too long. Be also aware the hard drives can begin to loose data and program segments long before you realize that one is going away. Plus, Western Digital provides a free Acronis Transfer programs to make changing out hard drive simple. Go to the support downloads and get it. Plus this also provide free a data life guard program that can tell you immediately if there is a problem with you hard drive.
