    Great training device
    This is a great item to keep cats off of surfaces. I had quite a bit of service time with it from an almost dead battery. I am uncertain how long a fully charged alkaline battery would last but I recommend geting an AC to 9 volt adapter for stubborn cases where you have to leave it in place for a week or train on multiple surfaces for an extended amount of time.

    Flashing light attracts animals
    Units shut off by themselves, and drain battery. No way to turn off flashing green on indicator. DOH. Cats are attracted to flashing lights. catch22. Thought I was buying ScatMat brand.
