Didn't work at first, but now it works perfectly
The first day of owning this unit, I couldn't get it to produce steam, even after adding a couple pinches of table salt. Left it on all night and by morning it started producing more steam. By late morning it was producing gobs of steam and hasn't stopped yet. I add about a gallon of water every 2 to 3 hours and rinse the black residue out every couple days. Happy with unit!

Disappointed - worked for 3 days only
I bought this Vapor machine hoping it was going to work for long term. I opened installed got rid of the box follow instructions and the first night I could smell the Vapor steam of Vicks. Next the the water of the machine came out black it wasn't steaming all of if and I added salt has the instructions suggested. 3 day same thing it didn't steam the entire water that was black .it had stopped running although the green light was on meaning it's still ON. Cleaned it with new water when to connect the machine. Turn ON for 2 minutes and shut down and it doesn't want to turn on. I can see the motor it's dirty and thats what's turning the water black and it seems that this machine was used and returned and sell to me because I make the purchase online because the Walmart near me didn't have one on the store when I went to get it. Very extremely disappointing. Also I live in gated house so the should leave the packages outside if the don't fit through the gate. Who ever did the delivery throw the package . That's it could also be a possibility to damage the machine.

    The warm mist vicks vapor is so good. My old one broke and looking for new one. Ordered yesterday got today. I love it. They sent one vicks pad but I poured the vicks liquid in. You can put Vicks in opening at top or into the bowl. It really opens up my sinuses it gets really warm. Put on a flat table Not too big perfect for bedroom. It recommend this. I read other reviews for the warm vicks mist steamer I liked this the best. Good price give it a 5 star. I like the nite lite

    Breathe easy
    This warm steam vaporizer can be modulated the steam to produce heavy or low by adding pinch of salt which can give you customized benefits of the use. After about 15/20 minutes of use shade away all the congestion is helpful to breathe easy. I used additional Vicks or equate vapo steam solution that was ready useful.

    Not really worth it
    I concur with some of these other reviews. The steam is okay, but every night the bowl has big black and gray chunks in it, no idea why, so you have to rinse and change the water and this bowl is INCREDIBLY difficult to get the water out of, the design it horrible. Definitely don't recommend

    Humidifies, but many drawbacks.
    I purchased this because the air in my apartment gets uncomfortably dry at night in winter, and it turns out the ultrasonic humidifiers are not good for air quality. This was the only other option I found. It does increase humidity, but it has a number of cons: 1) it sometimes spits water out of the front, and the water is very hot! This seems like a safety issue. 2) The power cord gets very hot, like there's too much current running through it. 3) It seems to only run for about 5 hours even when filled all the way, so unfortunately I still wake up at night with uncomfortably dry air. 4) Sometimes it vibrates in a way that makes an obnoxious sound. 5) I'm not sure what the black stuff is that is always leftover in the water once it turns off, but it's a little concerning.

    Would NOT recommend, returned!
    On first use we had chunks of gray and black matter deposited into the tank. No idea what they were, but we rinsed the tank and bottom of the pump and tried again. More black matter, and we never could get it to steam well enough. We returned the humidifier.

    Great Steam Vaporizer
    I really like Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer Humidifier with Night Light. It was easy to set up and start using. I like that the water chamber is really big so that I can use it throughout the day before having to refill it again. Although there are no settings for vapor intensity, it produces just the right amount of steam for your room. I paired it with the Menthol Vapor Pads and it was soothing for my daughter who was congested.

    It is ok
    It is ok, It works just fine.. I can see the steam coming out and if you touch it, its kinda hot but not hot hot that will make your hand burn.. It looks simple, nothing fancy.. The plastic they used is thick and durable.. Im not really sure if it really helps with congestion coz Im waking up in the morning with clogged nose due to allergies but I know that it adds moisture to the air and it is good for those who have dry skin.. It stops working when the water level is low.. What I dont like about this product is the shape and it occupied too much space..
