Warm Mist
I received this warm moisture humidifier about a week ago and I don't know why I didn't get one sooner!! Very easy to assemble and even came with a scent pad, instructions are very clear and setup tine took less than 5 minutes. There is only 3 sertings to choose from...high,low or off which make it easy to operate, and auto shut off when the tank is empty, which is a huge plus!! Just fill the tank and turn it on, you can use the vicks scent pads or the jelly kind from the jar which has different spots for both. I have used the humidifier every night since i got it and have sleep well and woke up without being clogged up or dry nose, i highly recommend this product as my family sure does.

come with a side of mold...
I purchased this and you can see from the photos the box looks unopened. i took it out of the box and noticed water in the tank. i continued taking it apart after seeing that and found something growing in it. walmart needs to do better about inspecting their returns because that is absolutely disgusting.

    Great warm mist humidifier
    Great warm mist humidifier. What I like about warm mist humidifiers is that the steam naturally rises into the air, unlike cool mist humidifiers where the cool mist drops after being blown out the top, sometimes making the area near the humidifier damp or even wet depending on where you place it. However, cool mist humidifiers use less energy and are a little safer if they are accidentally knocked over as they do not contain hot water, and don't forget about the hot steam rising from the warm mist humidifier. That could be potentially dangerous for curious kids and pets. With that being said, I really like this humidifier. It has a huge opening for filling, and it breaks down easily for cleaning. And that warm mist in the winter is just sooo nice. It's good for small to medium sized rooms. It runs about 24hrs on low and about 10-11hrs on high, however low just doesn't cut it when the air is really dry, but that will be the case with any small humidifier, cool or warm.

    What an amazing product that really works
    My son has been having major nose bleeds almost daily. I've tried so many things to stop his nose from bleeding everyday. I had just about given thinking no way anything was ever going to help when I decided to try this Vicks warm mist humidifier. He has been using it for a few weeks now and has only had 1 nose bleed. Which Is a big deal when he had them almost daily if not more then once a day. It is well built really nice and even has a separate compartment for Vick's pads. The Vick's pads help them breath in the Vick's vapors when they won't let your rub Vick's on them to help them feel better. My son even ended up with a cold during this time so I used the Vick's pad and by morning he was no longer stuffed up. The machine has a few settings so that it will use all the water or half of it over night. The machine allows you to chose a lot of most to come out over a time period or slowly over a certain time period. I am so glad I found this machine and that is truly helping my son. Now he can finally not have to worry about his nose bleeding so much and I am so thankful for that. I highly recommend this to everyone. If your house is even a little dry this will help you with the air quality.

    Can use essential oils with it humidifier
    I am very pleased and impressed with this Vicks Warm Mist humidifier it adds vapors of water to the air in a mist form, making it easy for my daughter to breathe when congested since she has a bad cold. It has helped her tremendously. It came with a sample Vicks Method Vapopad that makes the vapors so soothing. The pads also come in three choices of medicated pads that you can use with the humidifier, soothing menthol, sleepy time and calming vapors pads. When using the pads you put it in the scent pad door underneath the power knob. You can also use Liquid inhalant too by pouring it in the medicine cup on the unit that is removable, by all means, do not add to the water tank, reservoir or the mist chimney just in the cup. The Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier is very easy to operate, fill and clean. When filling only fill with cold water. It holds a gallon of water and runs for 24 hours with auto shut off. I have noticed since I been letting my daughter use the humidifier at night it has helped her sleep better. What I like the most is you can also use essential oils with it as well and when running it's not very noisy and does not interfere with her sleeping. I would highly recommend this humidifier it is a great quality unit that works very well.

    I can't believe we went so long without a warm mist humidifier. I started using this the first night we had it and my son slept better than he had in a long time. It's super easy to clean, which I love. Others seem difficult and are nearly impossible to empty the water out of completely, I have had no issues with this one. The only thing I don't care for, is how bright the light is at night. It's not a deal breaker though because the light let's you know the unit is on. I also love the auto shut off when the water is empty. It will stop and the light turns red which is nice. It's nice to be able to use the Vicks vapor items as well. Love this and will be using it more often!

    It really steamed the room
    At first I went by the instructions to fill the tank then I put the vapor pad in the slot. Within the first 5 to 7 minutes I could smell the Rosemary in the vapor pad. It was steaming pretty high. It made my sinuses feel better. I wished I had this 2 months ago whenI was sick.
