I received a small jar of Vicks - Vicks® VapoRub™ Topical Cough Suppressant For free in exchange for my honest review. To me this vapor rub can be used to relieve sinus congestion or chest congestion while you're sick. And also you can use it in your daily life, Whenever you feel like you could use it for relaxing or just to feel better. I use it during hot weather is on my forehead to relieve my headaches caused by the hot weather, and it did help me feel better.

Have used Vicks vaporub my entire 59 yrs. Last jar I bought had a different texture, not as strong of a smell and didn't work at all. Not sure why the formula changed but I won't buy it again.

    Vicks VapoRub has been a staple in my household for years. Containing menthol and eucalyptus, it goes to work fast on relieving cough and cold symptoms. I also like that it really works on soothing aching joints and muscles. I highly recommend every household have this on hand, especially during cold and flu season.

    Vicks VapoRub is a product I always have on hand, especially during cold and flu season. It is my go-to for overnight congestion relief for myself and my family. The rich, smooth cream spread on the chest always works to ease chest and nasal congestion from colds, making a restful night's sleep possible. The camphor, eucalyptus, and menthol work quickly and gently so I can wake feeling much better. It also works great to ease sore muscles. This is a product I used growing up and feel confident using, and I always highly recommend it.

    We always keep this vapor rub in our house especially during cold and flu season. It is especially helpful to rub on the chest to provide some relief from coughs or a blocked nose. I like that a little goes a long way so it lasts quite some time. Since it is a jar product, I prefer if it would come in a squeeze tube so I wouldn't have to put my fingers inside the jar. Other that that, this is a highly used product in my household and it is effective.

    I have used this product for many many years and it never fails! Wether it's a stuffy nose or even a cough suppressant it works! My favorite trick with this product is to lather some up on your feet and put a sock over it and your cough is gone!

    The Vicks VapoRub has worked wonders on my family. As we are going through a spring cold season, the VapoRub has helped tame down the coughs, especially at night time. It is easy to apply. Just a small amount on the upper chest works great for us!

    Still Works But Weaker Scent Than Years Past
    I have been using Vicks Vaporub since I was a child in the 70s. Over the years, I have relied on this product to help relieve cough and congestion when I am sick. The scent is comforting and nostalgic for me. I thought this would be a no brainer 5 star review because it is a longtime favorite of mine. However, while the active ingredients listed on the last jar I received are the same as my previous jar from several years ago, I noticed that the scent of the ointment is weaker and subtly different. It seemed a bit weaker after it was applied as well, but the difference wasn't as noticeable to me. I did some research and found some information online that says the inactive ingredients are what have been changed. The product still helped with my lingering cough from getting Covid recently, but I prefer the original scent and think it had a more powerful, uplifting effect. I really hope Vicks listens and brings back the old formula, but I do think I might have better luck getting my 7 year old son who dislikes anything "minty" to use this milder version.

    I have been using Vicks VapoRub since I was a child. Really, as long as I can remember. I have horrible allergies year round and it helps me to breath through my nose, so that I can comfortably fall asleep. It's what my grandma does and she taught it to me. She literally puts it on every single night before bed. I trust Vicks and appreciate how gentle and effective it is at soothing coughing too. Just a small dab of Vicks VapoRub rubbed onto my chest before bed and done, couldn't be easier. I love the minty menthol scent and how soothing it feels when I breath it in. Vicks VapoRub is a classic and a trusted go to in my family, for generations. Plus, we all have a well hydrated decolletage.

    Very disappointed in the change made to the formulation! This has been a staple in American medicine cabinets for decades, why destroy the quality. The ingredients listed on the old bottle lists many more ingredients. Camphor, menthol, spirits of turpentine, eucalyptus oil, cedar leaf oil, nutmeg oil,thymol14%. Please, put it all back, use the original formula!
