I love it, the aroma makes me relax .I'm a regular user as I use it for the face is great for pimples. Also in the forehead for headaches or stress.

Disappointing Fragramce
I am a Vicks lover. And, I was hoping this product would be just as good as the regular Vicks with a great smell. It was not. I can barely smell the lavender. And have decided it will never compare to the regular Vicks. I like a strong fragrance that clears my chest and sinus. What was I thinking.......In fact, I often don't think the regular Vicks is a potent as it was some 60 years ago...but I still love my regular Vicks. I will not be buying the lavender again.

    BEST SLEEP AID EVER!!!!
    I just discovered the "Lavender" scent Vicks about a year ago. I keep it in my head board of my bed and when I wake in the night I just put a couple of dabs on my nose and GO RIGHT BACK TO SLEEP!!! It works better than a sleeping pill. I've bought many of these and given to my friends and they all report loving it just as I do. I have been disappointed several times in not finding it at my local Walmart, but it is available on line and have it delivered - BLESS WALMART ON LINE!!!!!

    Scent Seemed Old And Musky
    Am unsure why, but, when I opened a brand new jar of the Lavender Scented VapoRub, it wasn't too pleasant. It smelled as if the Lavender product used to scent it with had gotten old, making it smell a bit musky. Sorry, but, that's not good for those of us with allergies. It caused me to develop a bit of a "non - serious" sore throat which went away after awhile. Hopefully I can return it for a refund.

    In the day just Vicks did the job to relieve chest pain when coughing, now this Vicks VapoRub Cough Suppressant Chest Rub Ointment with a sent of Lavender does the job so much more.

    Not as strong
    Was looking forward to this. I remember the original blasting you in the face and opening up your sinuses in a flash. This one is more subtle. It goes very slowly to 30% intensity and that's about it. Maybe new recipe because no one but me liked getting kicked in the face? Not as powerful as original. The scent is super good though. Not overwhelming, just soft and subtle. Highly recommend for little kids. Be careful though. Washed my hands 3 times and still got some in eyes. Burns eyes, not my chest.

    Love the smell!
    I received this item a little while ago and just love the smell from this rub. It's not too overpowering or smelly. It's just right and it's also a medicine that works overnight while I sleep and doesn't leave a smell the next day.

    Well this is my review for Vicks VapoRub Lavender Scented Chest Rub Ointment. I had never seen this before so I was so excited to try out the lavender scent! First, I LOVE Vicks! I love the smell of menthol and eucalyptus. I use Vicks for the typical reasons...colds, general aches and pains or chapped skin. It's a comfort thing. The Vicks Lavender scent initially smells like regular Vicks. I rubbed a small amount on my arm to see if there was a noticable difference. I can smell a faint sweetness. I had hoped it would contain real lavender essential oils but it does not. Only a slight bit of fragrance. If you don't like original Vicks then you probably won't like this any better. I am perfectly happy either way. Real lavender would be amazing though!

    I must say that I was already a fan of vick products, I think I do not know anyone who does not, but from this new scent, I fell in love when I opened the box, it smells delicious, and it's just as good as the original recipe, I love it.

    Vick's is a amazing brand. I love the new lavender scent. It makes it smell amazing . All you need is a small bit. I usually rub it on my chest to help open me up. I even use it on my children when they are stuffed up.
