    Soooo much better than the ones I had before
    I've gone through at least 3 or 4 of the sub $20 ones and dealt with the noise, slow fill times and eventually a broken device. I finally decided to spend a little more and what a difference. Definitely a solid device that pumped up my tires in a few seconds, and I'm quite happy with after a few uses.

    light weight and versitile
    As soon as I received my compressor I used it to fill the tires on my passenger car, it took all of 15 minutes to put 5 lbs of air in all four tires, so it basically pumped 20 lbs of air in 15 minutes. Not bad for a small pump, faster than those compact systems, and also faster than most stand alone compressors.

    The first one I bought stopped working.
    The first one i bought stopped working after the first time I used it. It was very frustrating. I am hoping the second one I have will continue to work.

    Works very well
    Since it is difficult to find service stations that provide air, I purchased this item to use at home. I've used it twice already to "top off" the pressure in my tires. It works great, is fairly quick, not very noisy and give an accurate pressure reading.

    Small, quick and quiet. Quality materials.
    You can feel the quality when you pick it up. Comes with a nice tan canvas bag with bright orange interior. It has a quiet and muffled operation when run, and does not vibrate on the ground as other plastic air pumps would. You can turn it on and off via the switch. Also has an LED light so you can see in the dark. The chuck (connector for the tire stem) is screwed onto the stem vs a quick release method. This can bleed the tire of air for the brief second you unscrew it to take it off the valve stem. The built-in tire pressure guage is accurate and handy. It will jump up a few PSI while pumping. So to get an accurate reading turn the pump off.

    Portable air compressor
    I tried it out the same day I recieved it. The guage isn't accurate on it, dial was reading 70 psi, and no way to tell what the actual tire pressure is unless the coupling is removed and tire is tested with a manual tire pressure guage. I had to do this several times. On the plus side, it did inflate my tire (Jeep Commander, big tires!) from 29 psi to 35 psi in about 4 minutes. It's going to take a couple of uses for me to feel confident using it. I would recommend it as an essential emergency kit component for all cars and trucks.

    best tire inflator
    I can only compare this inflator to my previous slime inflator. right out of the box I could tell this was well made by it's weight. filled my tire faster than my old inflator. most important is the cigarette conector which much sturdier than the old inflator. a great purchase so far.
