So far it works just fine. Tiny lights on the plug let you know it's receiving power. The coiled cable keeps the cord short enough to not be in the way. Price was reasonable.

    Great item
    Have used a similar one for years. The old one finally got unreliable. I really appreciate the length it will reach without getting in the way or tangling up like regular lightning cords. I keep it on my cell phone when we are traveling so I can take pictures out my window without worrying about whether I will drop it.
