Seems To Work Just As Good As The OEM
Always liked and had good success with Valvoline auto products and this anti-freeze does not disappoint. ZEREX Asian Vehicle Blue Antifreeze/Coolant is specifically formulated to meet the requirements of Asian vehicle manufacturers (Honda, Nissan, KIA, Hyundai and others) requiring a blue, silicate free Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) with a phosphate additive. This formula is designed to replace the original fluid and provides protection from rust, corrosion, boil overs and freezing. Zerex says it protects better than industry standards against corrosion, leaking, deposits as well as freezing and boiling – the four main causes of cooling system failure. So far, all is working well. The easy-to-use formula comes already pre-mixed in a 50/50 ratio using deionized water to protect all modern engine components from winter freezing (-34F) and summer boiling (265F). Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue comes with a 5-year/150,000 Miles Guarantee. Again, I have been using Valvoline products for years and never had any issues.

It does the job.
This review is for the Zerex Antifreeze Coolant. This antifreeze coolant is manufactured by VALVOLINE INC. There are several varieties of Zerex antifreeze coolant that are for various Asian vehicles. This the blue is specifically for use in Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Subaru and various other Asian vehicles as listed on the label on the back of the container. This antifreeze is prediluted to 50/50 mix with deionized water to eliminated any guesswork. Zerex Asian vehicle antifreeze coolant has a guaranteed performance of 5 years and 150,000 miles which helps to have peace of mind of that period of time. It helps to prevent winter weather freeze ups to -34 degrees F and summer weather boil-overs to 265 degrees F. I have only used if for a couple of months and have not had any problems with it. Then again it hasn't been to hot or too cold so I haven't had to worry about any freeze ups or boil-overs at this time. It seems to be doing the job it was intended for so only time will be able to prove that out.

    Just like OEM
    This Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue Silicate and Borate Free Antifreeze / Coolant is pre-diluted to 50/50 so that it is Ready-to-Use straight out of the bottle. It's blue, just like the coolant that came with my car. They make several different kinds for all makes and models. I use the red one for my other vehicle. No issues so far. Have not noticed any higher temperature readings and have not overheated at all. Supposed to be good in very low temperatures, but I haven't tested this in the winter temps yet, since we're just getting into summer still. I have no reason to doubt that it won't work as stated. I would recommend this antifreeze.

    Good Antifreeze Alternative for Asian Vehicles
    I pretty much buy antifreeze by price comparison, so was interested in the Zerex antifreeze designed for Asian vehicles. We own 2 domestic vehicles (2000 Ford F250, 2009 Jeep Liberty) and 2 asian manufactured vehicles (2005 Hyundai Elantra GT, 2019 Subaru Forester). While the Subaru still gets routine maintenance through the dealer, the Hyundai is old enough that I do most of the routine maintenance, including changing out and maintaining coolant levels. So, the Hyundai became the test vehicle for evaluating the Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue Silicate and Borate Free Antifreeze. I have replaced about half of the existing coolant (the fluorescent green stuff from Prestone) in my Hyundai with the bright blue Zerex coolant. I have not noticed any change in engine temperature readings following the change, but will continue to monitor as the months go by – we're doing less driving due to the sky-high (over $6 per gallon) gas prices in this part of California, so a full evaluation will take months rather than weeks. When shopping for antifreeze in the future, I will consider the Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue Silicate and Borate Free Antifreeze for my Hyundai if it is price competitive. Overall, I recommend this product based on limited use/experience for an evaluation.

    This Valvoline ZEREX Asian antifreeze is perfect for my Nissan car. It is already predicted with water to a 50/50 solution so its perfect to use as is . It is silicate & borate free . If you have a blue color antifreeze in your car then this is what you need .

    This review is for Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue Silicate and Borate Free Antifreeze / Coolant 50/50. I have used this product only for 2 weeks in my Acura MDX. So far everything seems to be normal as my OEM anti-freeze. However, 2 weeks is not long enough to review a product like this. My rating here only reflects the spec claimed by manufacturer on the bottle. If the spec is accurate, it would substantiate my rating, otherwise, I hope I can access my rating to adjust. The spec says 5 year/150, 000 mile. Silicate-free, phosphate Hybrid Organic Acid Technology chemistry, formulated to replace the OEM fluid in Asian make vehicles such as Honda, Nissan, KIA, Hyundai and others requiring a blue, silicate free HOAT antifreeze/coolant. The formula provides protection for all cooling system metals from rust and corrosion. The silicate free, borate free formula helps protect against harmful scale and deposits. Meets the following OEM and industry specifications: Hyundai/KIA MS 591-08, Mitsubishi ES-64217, JIS K 2234-1994, Ford WSS-M97B55-A, ASTM 3306, ASTM D4985, Federal Specification A-A-870A.     For my Honda
    This antifreeze is not available on the shelf, but can be ordered online from Walmart. If you have a Honda, or one of several other Asian car makes, you may have noticed that the fluid in the radiator overflow tank is blue. Yes, this is your engine coolant! Don't confuse it with your windshield washer fluid, which is also blue in many American cars. Yes, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and Subar engine coolant is blue. This gallon jug of Zerex is pre-diluted with special/distilled water, so it's good to have on hand, if your asian vehicle needs topping off. Very convenient, and reasonably priced.

    Oem quality coolant.
    When you want oem quality coolant but not dealers price, can't go wrong with Zerex. At 120k miles, it was time to change the coolant in my car. The color of the coolant is a perfect match. It's just a sense of security that I won't have any worries of incapability, corrosion or over heating. Hopefully the next time I get more is at 240k miles. For that long of a product span, who wouldn't get the good stuff.

    I Trust Zerex Coolant In My Vehicles
    This review is for the Asian vehicle Zerex Antifreeze Coolant. I picked up this gallon of Asian vehicle antifreeze coolant for my Honda. It's silicate and borate free which is important for my Asian vehicle to ensure no failure of the pump seals or silicate buildup which inhibits heat transfer. Asian vehicles use different materials and it's important you use the correct coolant for your vehicle, this is why they're color coded. Although some colors can be mixed, some can't. I've been using Zerex blue for Asian vehicles for my Honda CR-V for a while now and haven't had any problems. Make sure to keep your coolant levels topped off and your reservoir within the acceptable range. If it's running low, bring the reservoir level up to the top line. If you're driving a car with high mileage and it's been a while, you may want to flush out your system entirely before replacing with fresh coolant. This is a good product. My CR-V has over 200,000 miles and still runs great.

    Great alternative to OEM
    I have been using Zerex as an OEM replacement coolant in my vehicles for a very long time. Cost savings over dealer is tremendous. This Nissan blue pre diluted makes a drain and fill simple. No need to measure liquids to achieve the perfect mix. They did it for you already. A drain and fill takes no time at all. It's very important to use the correct fluid for your vehicle. Certain metals react differently with additives in coolants and can lead to catastrophic damage. Zerex does the work for you. Definitely glad to see it's finally carried at Walmart.
