Outdoor Movie Night was a success.
What a surprise in this projector and what a great movie night we had. 1st tested upstairs on the apt wall (as shown), picture amazingly clear. Then we set up downstairs in the courtyard. We did have some connection issues via wifi but then we attached the chromecast and connected perfectly. Screen was easy to hang up and it took as a minute to get the right angle for the image to fit but we got there. The sound quality is fantastic, really surprised us all. Low or high there was no static sound and everything was heard clearly. This really was the perfect projector for our needs and will be having building movie nights often. We still have to figure out the direct wifi configuration but, in the meantime we will use our chromecast and fire stick which works exactly how they should. Overall, very nice projector, quality screen, excellent audio and picture and very reasonably priced.

    Easy Hookup and Great Quality
    I am happy to have this projector. It came with a screen also and many others did not have one that came with them. That was my main reason for choosing this one. I was nervous to hook it up because I don't consider myself very technically inclined when it comes to hooking up TVs and things like that. The screen was easy to put up. I am not sure where I want it permanently, so I didn't use the clips that came with it, but I used thumb tacks to put it up temporarily. I like that it is easy to setup in many different areas if I do not want it to stay in a permanent place. It comes with hooks you stick to the wall but you could use nails, screws or thumb tacks. The screen has metal eyelets that makes any of these easy to do. As for making the projector work, it comes with all the cords needed and you screen mirror. I have never had a reason to screen mirror before and so I was a little intimidated, but that also isn't hard. It comes with clear instructions how to do so with iOS or Android. It reminded me of hooking up to my Bluetooth, which I have done many times and so it was quite simple also. As for the picture, it had a good picture that I am happy with and you are able to make it zoom to the size you need. The screen that comes with it is an ample 100 inch screen, but you could use it with a screen up to 200 inches. I wouldn't even need a screen that big and so I am glad for the 100 inches. That is huge to me. I am very happy with this purchase and I expect it to last me and my family for many years. My son plans to hook it up to play games together and I look forward to doing that also. This is a great thing to have family time watching TV or playing games together and would be great for movie parties also.

    Everything I need for an outdoor movie experience
    We've been wanting to get a projector for awhile now for movie nights in the yard for the summer. I came across this Vankyo Projector that is WiFi capable and also comes with a bonus projector screen. The projector is light and compact. Easy to store away and take in and out without the hassle. The picture quality is top notch. We didn't have to wait for it to get dark in order to watch the movie. The picture is pretty clear at dusk. The sound is clear and crisp without an external speaker. Setting up the projector for mirror image was easy. The instructions came with two separate instructions for iOS and Android that was very easy to follow. There's step by step detailed on how to connect the projector and phone together. It took me less than 1 minute to connect my phone to the projector. There's also the option to use the memory stick or TV sticks for movies as well. Mirror image works well but due to copyright issue, the projector is smart enough to know and block the image from major streaming service companies. My one suggestion is, READ instructions. I was too excited about the whole WiFi and movies outdoor it took me awhile to realized why the projector could not project the movies from one of my subscription streaming service, and yes it was noted in the instructions that I didn't read. Highly recommend this projector.

    Great for the price range
    Really good product overall. Resolution and brightness was as expected for this price range. Sound is nice and loud. Needed to connect the projector to our WiFi through a website link which was a little different than through the unit itself, but the instructions were all there to do it and the process went fine. Numerous settings for adjusting tilt, screen size, etc for many different layouts. Style looks very clean and buttons are all touch sensitive. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a projector in the $200 price range.

    My third Vankyo projector
    This is my third Vankyo projector that is even priced lower than the previous two. It came to me two weeks ago and I am expressing my experience as fully as possible. Since it arrived I was amazed at how sharp and excellent it looks. Color reproduction is sharp. The projection distance is perfect for a game room. The sound is good enough to dispense with an audio bar, although for greater enjoyment I would recommend adding one, of course this is a personal preference, deep down you really don't need it. The size of the projected image makes it super immersive. What I find highly exciting is that it is extremely portable and I use it at a sporting event gathering with friends, who also enjoyed the quality of the video. I highly recommend it.

    Watching movies with the family is the best!!
    There is nothing that our family enjoys more than making and watching home movies and spending time together. We've been doing this for years and it never gets old. At each holiday or family gathering we come together and our family members compete to share what they've created throughout the year. It's a wonderful way for our family members to celebrate and share the milestones in each other's lives. With the pandemic going on, we haven't had the luxury of attending all of the events and special moments of our family and friend's daily lives so capturing those moments on video is the next best thing. We were looking to upgrade our current video projector and setup because we really wanted the ability to be able to project and view these videos and movies outside. It was important that the new projector that we chose would provide top notch picture quality and sound as well as flexibility in access to the data that we wanted to share. We found the perfect solution when we came across the 5G WiFi Vankyo Full HD Video Projector. I love that it came with a portable 100 inch screen. It's so nice buying a product that comes with everything needed to perform it's intended functions and purpose. The users manual says it can project onto a screen as large as 170 inches. I found that the 100 inch screen that it came with is more than enough for everyone to comfortably see and enjoy whatever we are showing. I think those needing to project to large groups of people would really appreciate that it can accommodate so much in regard to space while still providing crystal clear picture and sound quality. In my opinion, the biggest plus is that it is wireless and requires no extra wires or cables. The setup literally took minutes. I simply wirelessly connected it to the internet and from there the options were endless with how and what the projector could be connected to. The projector works equally well with both iOS and Android systems. You can use your phone, tablet or computer to pull up the data that you are wanting to project. It has every multimedia way to connect that you can imagine. In addition to the iOS and Android routes, you can use your USB stick, SD cards and even gaming systems to retrieve the data you would like to project. The picture and sound quality are remarkable and far exceeded our expectations. We will continue to create movies and events that can be shared with our family and friends. Simply a fantastic product that I highly recommend.

    Awesome High Quality, Portable Size Projector
    This projector is so impressive that it make me right the five star review.Firstly the packaging is decent; foam perfectly fits the device and accessories. Secondly, user guide is pretty straightforward. once unpacked and installed; you can simply enjoy watching videos for hours. Most importantly, it provides several input sources including HDMI, USB and even Screen mirroring with WiFi so that you can get high quality pictures either either from a phone or laptop. I have tried several types of videos and placed the projector at different distances and all of them works pretty well. They do provide a projector screen too that once setup on the wall provides really clear pictures. I tried my PS4 and it's worked pretty awesome. Always wanted to play my games on big screen and this projector really worked out well. There was no distortion and quality of video was as if full resolution on television. it comes with a remote and panel on the projector is awesome and easy to use. it's very easy to navigate. I used it to project pictures and it's was clear. Besides sound quality is awesome. it's beyond my expectations. we can attach external speakers too if needed. I would highly recommend this product and its a value for money for my liking.

    Love this projector!
    My daughter has been wanting a portable projector for a while now. So, I finally gave in and got this one for her birthday. These days, you don't need to spend $1000 to get a model with good picture quality, high brightness, and great color. With a projector, you can get a huge screen size for a fraction of the price of a big TV. And you can take it on the go! We camp and travel a lot so the projector is perfect for our family! The Vankyo projector comes with a projector, a 100” clothe screen (I was impressed by the size), adhesive hooks and screws, remote (batteries not included), power cable, and HDMI cable. Everything is supplied for an awesome movie night! It was super easy to set up and get ready! I hung the screen and plugged in the projector. Next, I connected the HDMI cable (included) to my computer and projector, took off lense cover, and turned on projector. Make sure the room is dark so you get a bright picture. And the closer the projector is to the screen, the brighter your projection will be. You can also connect your phone or Fire TV stick (not included) to the projector and watch movies that way too. The picture was clear and sound was great! Football season is starting soon and we will be putting this little machine to work a bunch! I can honestly say that I am very impressed with this projector and definitely recommend it! RGM

    Everything you need in one box.
    I've always loved going to the Drive-In movies so I could sit outside the car and watch movies under the stars. The problem is there aren't many Drive-In theaters open anymore and the ones that are aren't very close. So I thought it would be fun to set this up outside and even though it's not the same as the Drive-In, it would still be fun. One thing for sure, the bathroom is cleaner at home lol. This VANKYO projector comes with everything you need to enjoy a movie on the big screen. Included in the package: Projector, lens cap, remote (batteries not included) HDMI cable, power cord, AC adapter, Lens cleaning kit, fabric screen, adhesive hooks to hang the screen, mounting screws, a manual and a quick setup guide. I connected my laptop to the projector with the HDMI cable (included) and set the projector to screen mirroring. I streamed the movie from my online Xfinity account using WIFI. I wanted to test this out indoors right away. I was skeptical and wasn't sure the image would be clear enough. Putting up the screen: The screen included is 100" and has 6 grommets for hanging. The plastic adhesive hooks are very useful for hanging on flat surfaces. When hanging to a tree, I used small screw in hooks (not included) which also work well. See Photo 1. At first I put the screen up in the yard between a tree and a tetherball pole and the projector on the porch (fear of rain) but the distance between the screen and projector was too far. Plan B, I hung the screen up to the porch railings. The projector was only about 11 feet from the screen and did overflow slightly because I didn't have the screen hung perfectly. Setting up the projector: There are 3 aspect ratios. Simply set the ratio and focus, and the picture and sound quality are amazingly sharp and crisp. There's no grainy look with the graphics and no vibration to the sound. I thoroughly enjoyed watching my first movie on my new projector. Best of all, I watched outside on my porch. NOTE: When images are mirrored, they can only be as good as the source. I highly recommend this projector for distances up to approximately 20 feet. NOTE: A larger screen is needed in order to screen from 20 feet (200" not included) Ok, time to make the popcorn and watch the next movie!

    Projector - Perfect for outdoors
    I've been looking for a very long time for a reliable projector to watch movies and games outside in my backyard. This projector is well worth the price. The picture is very clear and I was surprised how loud/clear the sound was. I love how easy it is to connect my phone rather than always using an HDMI cable like I did with my last projector. This is great for a summer night outside to watch sport on!
