great for a teenager to use.
This device provides the power you need for your IPad or Iphone. It is easy to use and has power protection for circuitry safeguards. It is valuable because it has devices from voltage over current or short circuit conditions. The 12 W/ charges all USB devices very fast and I like that it has a lightning cable. I find it to be useful as a spare charger or if you need a replacement. My old cable had the wires showing and it shorted out during a storm, so this device is great. It is very easy to store away and I find it really comes in handy when I have my grandchildren around. They always have devices that need charging. So we never have to let our devices run out of power again. We use our phone, ipads and other electronics every day. so having an extra in the house is really a plus. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a spare or replacement for their home or office.

Cord is short!!
This wall charger fits my iPad and iPhone 5s. It charges them pretty quickly. I've never had an issue with the set up or it not working properly. It also works with my computer. But the cord is VERY short, only about 2 feet long. I usually end up on my device while it's charging which I know they say is not good for the electronic. With the cord being so short it isn't always the easiest to find an outlet that allows that. If you use this cord for strictly charging your device then there shouldn't be any issue.

    The V7 12W wall charger is quick and easy for me and my family. I have a shelf under an outlet so I can charge my ipad & iphone. I keep the cube in all the time and just put the iphone or ipad on the shelf to charge. Its out of the way and very convenient. We no longer lose wires to connect our stuff. I love the design of the cube,it fits right in with our decor. Also its not flimsy, some chargers dont fit all the way in sometime but this does and it makes life easier!

    Better Than Original One!
    This charger is amazing!! I have gone thru 3 chargers so far for my 5c iphone. I got the original charger one year ago with the phone; I bought another authentic apple charger and then I bought an off brand one. After only a few months, it took longer to fully charge and finally, I found overnight, it didn't charge much at all. Time for another charger. That's why I was so anxious to try this one! It hasn't disappointed so far. It charges to 100% in about 20 minutes from 50% which is a world's record for me and so far, it has not missed a beat! Out of the 4 I've tried, this is certainly the best one!

    Received this as a sample to try out , and what can I say other than it works great !!! I don't have an iPad , so I used it to charge my iPhone , and my son's iPod , and it works just as good as your typical Apple chargers would !!!! Would recommend it highly !!

    I originally thought this was simply the wall plug with a USB jack (without any cable), so I was pleasantly surprised when the package came with both the charger and a three foot lightning cable. Both the charger and cable a jet black and match nicely. The plug into the phone end of the lightning cable has a very small shroud (perhaps the smallest I have ever seen) so it would easily fit into any device even with a protector around it (as long as there is a cutout for the connector itself of course). The wall plug-in plug can be folded up into the body of the charging unit (see picture) which it makes it easier to pack and protects the prongs on the plug. The USB plug connection is very snug - it certainly won't fall out accidentally. It works well charging my iPhone 5, and is rated at up to 2.4 amps, so it should work fine for and iPod, iPhone, or iPad that takes a lightning cable. The charger can handle an AC input voltage in the wide range of 100 to 240 volts, so it should work well for international travel (may need a convertor just for the physical outlet plug, but no voltage transformer would be required). The only downside is that it is larger than any charger I have seen (see picture), but that doesn't matter much to me where I intend to use it.

    Works like the OEM charger and wire
    This charger is about a 1.5" cube so it is slightly bigger than Apple's original product. The prongs fold for easy storage. The wire is about the same quality as the OEM one except the plastic is a bit harder and less rubbery. I charge my iPhone 5 overnight without any dreaded "This accessory may not be supported." message.
