    Line counter never worked. Great for catfish rod.
    I bought this mainly for the reel, but the rod seems nice and definitely something I would use for walleye. I put the reel on my rippin lips rod and loaded it with 30 lbs mono, casts like a dream. Im using this for catfish, and wanted the counter to see how far down current my line gets pulled (I live on the mississippi), but the the thing hasnt worked at all. If that worked (it should work, come on ugly stik) I would give it a higher rating.

    The rod and reel are great, I was running a small dipsy and was able to bring in a 10lbs and a 15lbs king salmon with this rod and reel. might be getting 2 more soon.
