Convenience and comfort.
Bought this as a replacement for the camera built into my laptop. I use this only for Skype. People at the other end say the picture quality is better than built-in camera. The convenient aspect is that my laptop can be positioned for my comfort viewing the screen and the camera can be positioned separately to give the other person the picture they desire. Convenience and comfort. Setup could not be easier. Definitely like the price.

Not the Same
Its not the same as the previous one. It says it is but once you plug it in its resolution and color is terrible.

    Great value for the price.
    Great camera. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is reliable. Every month or so I must unplug and replug to get Zoom, teams, or whatever software to recognize it. But that only happens when it hasn't been used for weeks. This is a wide angle camera. When I'm sitting 12 inches away it looks like I'm 6 feet away.

    Look alive
    I use this with ChomaCam virtual green screen and in zoom and it looks so much better than my think pad laptop cam. I look like I dont live in a dark basement now. Lol

    Must have good lighting.
    It's a decent camera if you have good lighting. The privacy lens cover that was with it is not the correct fit. But overall it's a good camera if you have good lighting. If it's too dim in the room it will look very fuzzy.

    Get something else, better!
    Well you do get what you pay for sometimes, I went cheap and I got a web cam I can't figure out. Instructions weren't all that clear and I really don't like the idea that if I forget to cover the camera I might be recorded 24/7, no it's a big no for me!

    Not worth the money
    The device did not do what it is intended to do. You could not produce a video. Only a still image. There is no voice recording. It is not worth the money. The claim that the wide angle view of the lens is 120 degrees is false. I measured it: it is 90 degrees. One think in favor of the seller: fast shipment.

    Just right for me
    Plugged it in--Bingo. I had video and audio. Just what I needed for Zoom classes. This was my first try at a camera on my computer and I am very pleased. It's not fancy, and gamers and audio/video-philes might want a more sophisticated set up, but this works just fine for a little old lady who wants to join in on her book group meeting!

    Web-Cam for Zoom.
    This webcam arrived as advertised, quick plug in and it automatically set up with high-quality picture and sound. I used it successfully on Zoom later that day. It is 1080p both on still photo and live broadcast. Very reasonably priced for the quality and ease of use.
